I ended up in the ER in west Texas after my husband had an accident while we were camping. The facility in Alpine was small and unassuming but the care was the best I have ever seen. Dr. Cosban was unexpected, kind, caring and clearly very smart. He immediately made us feel at ease and made the whole experience pleasant. I never would have thought we would have come across such an amazing doctor while traveling and just had to take a moment to write this. I wish he was a primary care doctor so we could have him as our main doctor. He was just great.

Dr. Cosban was amazing. He was so caring and compassionate. I was impressed by the ER and its staff. I am thankful to have stumbled upon this facility when I was in need. The world needs more ER doctors like this who take the time to be thorough and explain all of the results.

A few days ago, I brought my mother to the ER from her nursing home. She is 90+ and was diagnosed with corona virus. As there were no visitors allowed once admitted by hospital policy, I knew my time in the ER may be my last with her. I was able to say good-bye and could not be more grateful for Dr Cosban's compassion and the staff he employs. My mother is still admitted and we are hoping she recovers. I know he and his staff did everything they could as he was able to explain each step that could be taken. He was also able to discuss end of life care in a way that was both honest and reassuring. I am grateful that during these hard times there are people Like Dr. Cosban working to help patients get through. I cannot image the strength he has to continue to have such a positive attitude in the face of adversity. I hope my mother survived her admission but still want to take time to thank those healthcare workers putting themselves at risk to help others like my mom.

Dr. Cosban took care of me recently after I got hit in the head and had a huge wound. He sewed me up and made sure I had the follow up care I needed. I was impressed with how fast he came in the room and started working to stop my head from bleeding. I am lucky to be alive after over 30 stitches and staples. It is healing well and I am happy he helped me.

My mother was seen at the ER last week and I got a call from my sister RAVING about the ER doctor that helped her get admitted and took care of her in the ER. Come to find out, it was Dr. Cosban who I have met before. She said he was super fast and addressed her needs very quickly. She also could not believe how much he talked to everyone to make sure they didn't have any questions about how the hospital process would go in the ER. Such validation and such a great doctor!

Dr. Cosban attended to my mother during a stroke and I was amazing with how quick everything was done and how willing he was to spend time with me to ensure I understood what was happening and why. He made sure everyone that came in the room knew the plan. At no point did I feel out of the loop. Seems like a great guy and it was obvious he really cared.
