Well care visit

Just like always, Dr. Rasor is always helpful, professional, and thorough. I ask a lot of questions and Dr. Rasor will always answer all that I have. Best thing I’ve done is switch to him after my previous Doctor retired after listening to my wife say how much she liked him. Our whole family now sees him and plan on doing so for a very long time.

I would rate my experience as excellent from the moment I walked into the building through my departure. I left my former physician not due to his competence, but because of the consistent inability of his front office staff to carry out the most simple tasks ; referring scripts , scheduling appointments, answering phone calls and the like. My visit with Dr. Rasor began with the an interaction with the front office staff that can only be described as flawless and friendly. What a delight ! Dr. Rasor's nurse was pleasant as well as thorough and seemed to know quite a bit about my history even though this was my initial visit. Dr. Rasor himself mirrored the staff and the nurse.

I was able to receive an appointment in a very reasonable amount of time. The nurse updated my health information quickly and pleasantly and Dr. Rasor came in almost immediately after. He agreed with me that a referral for a hospital test was the best treatment option, and he sent the referral to McLaren St. Luke that morning (8/10/22) and also gave me the phone # for central scheduling and said if I didn't receive a call by 8/15 to call them myself. I needed to call as requested. I waited on hold for 27 min and when a person answered she transferred me to another department. After 10 rings the phone disconnected. I was forced to call central scheduling again and after 10 minutes on hold I left a message for them to call me. 24 hours later I still have not received a return call. I'm very happy with Dr. Rasor and his staff but I'm considering asking for a new referral to a different hospital that is more respectful of its patient's time and needs.

Dr. Razor is was a young doctor when I changed to his care after my late doctor retired. I have watched him grow more confident in his care and his skills. He is a Doctor of Osteopathic so he is able to check for bone structure issues as well as the regular things a doctor does. He listens intently to what the patient says and goes through the options with the patient. I will miss him greatly when I move.
