I found Dr. Mendoza to be very good at what she does. She was recommended to be by a nurse, who had worked with Dr. Mendoza. The anxiety I was dealing with, interfered with my life in a significant way. Dr. Mendoza gave me back my life by way of sessions that were insightful, safe, humorous and profound.

Thoughtful and intelligent demeanor.
Telehealth
She has a very empathetic voice and listens closely to my needs. Even though the practice is not part of my healthcare coverage I still prefer Dr. Mendoza over other doctors. It is very refreshing to not have a mental health doctor speak in motivational quotes and speak to me like an adult.

I should make it clear that I don't have a problem with Tricia, I actually think shes quite sweet. However, I do have issues with her billing policies and her employee. The front-desk receptionist is incredibly nasty and condescending. If you are 10 mins late for an appointment they charge you 150 dollars... even if the circumstances are out of your control. I know the pharmaceutical industry has its corrupt tenancies, but this practice has no regard for struggling people, and will charge you as much of a fee for a profit. 150 dollars for 10 minutes. It's absurd. The receptionist is very rude, and doesn't approach this situation with compassion, rather aggression and an eye roll.

If you have low self esteem, I would not recommend seeing Dr. Mendoza under any circumstances. I found her condescending and dehumanizing, and poorly equipped to communicate with someone with my condition (which I should think would be a requirement of the profession).
