Dr. Weaver spent five minutes with me and seemed upset that I did not want the more invasive procedure. He told me he was going to do another procedure and did not explain, just told me that his team would schedule it. His bedside manner is not the greatest. I will be finding another doctor.

I have seen Dr. Weaver for several years and I don't think he even knows my name. He rarely conducts exams or speaks directly to you. Someone from his entourage handles everything. Then he comes in for a few minutes and bills your insurance for a double office visit. If you call his office, no one returns your call. OSU’s surgery coordinator called me and asked for me to call because he didn't return her calls either. My surgery was canceled because he couldn't pick up the phone. He's dismissive of my concerns and his staff follow his lead. He calls men by their first names but he always calls women sweetheart, dear, or another condescending euphemism. It's unprofessional. He is a pain management doctor who doesn't care if you are in pain. He has so many patients so if you have too many questions or concerns, he doesn't care because he has plenty of other patients waiting to take your place. I am actively looking for another doctor. OSU Spine Center is a great facility but I would see anyone else.

Worst doctor ever seen
Dr Weaver has zero empathy, displays arrogance and worst of all, left me to suffer in pain while waiting for a spinal injection that was never done. When I inquired, his office told me that he had put in an authorization request with my insurance company. I called and sent him a message in mychart with no response. I finally called my insurance company and was told that Dr Weaver NEVER contacted them for authorization. I’ve been bed ridden for weeks while waiting for this procedure. My GP called Dr Weaver last month to inquire about my care. She is a wonderful doctor and called me personally to tell me that Dr Weaver would be following up. He never called and has never personally responded to my messages. I was finally able to speak with his nurse manager, Julie, who is very compassionate and assisted me in finding a new provider.

Dr. Weaver is arrogant and lack empathy. He spend no time with his patients and comes in with an agenda that makes you feel like a number instead of a patient.

I have been a Patient of Dr. Weaver since 2015. I had horrible low back pain radiating down both legs for two years prior to my first appointment with him. I had been through numerous epidural injections and numerous bottles of Vicodin from the pain management physician I was seeing in Louisiana. Dr. Weaver took a lot of time with me reviewing my MRI and determined a course of treatment that I agreed to. I am pain and medication free thanks to his determination, knowledge and expertise.

He has got to be the worst doctor I have ever had. He likes giving patients nerve blocks even when they won't help much. He makes a lot from them. Osu leads you to believe he's a back specialist when he's an anestholist. That's a big deal when you are paying over 300 a visit. His office is ran very poorly and his staff cares even less than he does. Can't trust him or osu. Don't complain to them because they claimed I harassed them so they didn't have to deal with what happened to us.

Dr. Weaver goes beyond most to help you out. He's not just a good Dr. This man is a very genuinely, caring person. People expect Docs to be perfect and those don't exist. If he was late for an appointment it was a mistake and I'm sure he would not do this on purpose. Unfortunately, medical procedures do not come with a guarantee. If the Dr. could have 100% perfect results every time I'm sure he would, but that's in a perfect world. What a great Doctor.

I had a very bad experience with dr. Weaver. My app was at 10:30 am. I was waiting in his room for 1 and half hour ( till 12:00 pm) and he didn't show up. I asked a nurse to look for him and finally he came and said my app was at 11:30. I asked him to check his computer , he said that I was right and didn't apologize Then he was standing for 3 minutes and said that he is suggesting injections for my back pain or some pain killers. He didn't explain my MRI findings at all.

Dr weaver performed a procedure on my daughter about a month ago. something went very wrong and her pain level has been elevated since . I called the office multiple times and was assured the effect would wear off. its been a month and no improvement. Dr Weaver has never even contacted us to follow up or see how she is. We are waiting to have an emg done to see if there is permanent damage.

Dr Weaver was very professional, knowledgeable and personable.I was terrified that I had to see a spine specialist, but he put me at ease, did not rush me, answered all of my questions and even showed me my MRI films and explained them. The Orthopedic specialist that I saw for a first opinion did not, and made me feel rushed. I would definitely recommend Dr Weaver to anyone needing to see a spine specialist!
