Terrible
During my birthing experience, as I was in active labor crying, screaming in pain he compared it to 'passing a kidney stone'. I found him very unsympathetic, rough, rude and poor bedside manner. I asked for a moment to let my placenta pass and he ripped it out. Definitely would not recommend. Not one thing that I asked for in my birth plan he regarded. He also cut the umbilical cord before my husband had a chance.

Rude and disrespectful. Disregarded my sister's birth plan. He did not allow her husband to cut the cord and said 'better luck next time'. This was their first child. After delivering my sister said she needed a minute and wanted to pass her placenta naturally. Within 60 seconds after her saying that he wrapped the cord around his fist and ripped it out from her. Overall arrogant and condescending attitude. I can't believe he's allowed to work a woman's center. Horrible horrible human.

Horrible, Horrible Man
Very rough and crude; more like a mechanic than a physician. Extremely arrogant and pompous. MAJOR postoperative complications that resulted in a visit to the E.R., even though I informed him of my symptoms at follow up visits. The shock to my immune system resulted in a diagnosis of Crohn's, as a direct result of sepsis after the surgery. Vile man.

Inappropriate
He was the only doctor available when I had to deliver my son at BWC. He was extremely rude, gave me 'false information' about my newborn, made inappropriate comments, and handled me very roughly. He had to 'check me', and almost had his whole fist inside. It hurt so bad I cried and was at the other end of the table. I tried pushing his hand out and he actually got pissed. This happened 4 yrs ago. I know it's a little late now, but I have never forgotten the way he made me feel.

Without a doubt the Worst doctor you could have! He might well be a butcher! Rude, uncaring, and very heavy handed! He poked around for a long time without telling me why, and after the check I was bleeding with pain! I didn't know why I needed to bleed so heavily after just a routine check! I regret ever came to his (butcher) office! It's a wonder that he can be a doctor and in public service for so long!

Horrible! After routine surgery during which Eckman nicked my intestine, I now have severe ulcerative colitis. After informing Eckman's staff of my condition after an emergency room visit for projectile vomiting and excruciating pain, he NEVER followed up with me and I received subsequent treatment and follow up care from two other physicians.
