Do yourself a favor and DONT see her. Just run the other way. This has to be the rudest and worst doctor I have ever come across. She referred me to an ob/gyn who did all of these unnecessary tests on me, obviously switched my blood sample with someone else’s and told me I had hep c and that my hemoglobin was so low I’d need a blood transfusion. Mind you they called me a month or so after my visit even occurred. Dr. Patel’s response was “well if they said you have it then you have it, it’s sexually transmitted.” Excuse me? She knows absolutely nothing about me, I’ve been with my fiancé for years with no infidelity and we both get tested regularly. No repeat test was even suggested by this quack or the quack that she referred me to (which I eventually got by going to a better physician and what do you know, no hep c and no anemia... surprise surprise) I just walked out of the room and demanded my health records at the front desk. Ridiculous.

I found another doctor after seeing Dr. Patel for several years. When I first saw her she was very attentive. Then less and less attentive and helpful. After waiting 45 minutes or more, the last few times she saw me for 5 to 8 minutes. She became all business and no "bedside manner" what so ever. Also I found charges to my insurance that I did not receive, which I reported. Her office is in an older home which is in need of some repair. The cleanliness is questionable.

Please save yourself a trip to the doctor and a FIND A NEW ONE! She has to be the worst doctor I have EVER seen. She told me for my horse throwing me into a fence that I should only take Motrin and refused to look into my spine, which is INCREDIBLY painful! As well as for my insomnia (which has been chronic and treated since I was 16) to just take Motrin. She didn't listen to anything I said and didn't even tell her staff the little she did do. TERRIBLE DOCTOR.
