All reviews are confirmed and audited before publication, and community members have the ability to flag inappropriate content for further review by our team.

Dr. Chen is too quick to draw conclusions without listening to the patient's medical history. When a patient has a problem and requests a return call, she chooses to ignore the patient and not return the patient's call. Proper medical practices to return a patient's call within 24 or 48 hours, depending on the nature of the patient's call. Dr. Chen has lost sight that without patients, she would not be needed and not have a job.

This physician changed the dosage on 1 of my meds Pantoprazole Sodium, 40mg, from 2 times per day to 1 time per day without even discussing it with me. I cannot take the med only 1 time per day. It is insufficient. I will have stomach bleeding from Plavix. My partner and I went to her office and discussed this with a medical assistant. She is going against my cardiologist's instructions. To date, she has not responded. She does not listen one's previous medical history.

After getting the run around from two different doctors and being put on antibiotics I didn't need, I finally was out with Dr.Chen, who decided to do what I needed done in the first place, which is to send me to a specialist.

Dr. Chen lacks any measurable amount of listening skills- a trait vital for Dr. patient relationship and quality of care.Quality of care has become an issue with family Health Care Centers- they seemingly take the difficult/ incorrect path in almost all of my medical issues, when a doctor like Dr. Chen assumes conditions rather then diagnose based on patient's self report- medical problems become exacerbated and treatment quality declines
