Great nephrologist in Santa Fe, New Mexico
Moved to Santa Fe recently and needed to get in to see a nephrologist to get a kidney biopsy- thankful to meet with Dr. Tudor Ocneanu. He is a great doctor, listens and answers my questions, knows the latest research to treat IgA nephropathy and has a wonderful sense of humor! Very down to earth and very relatable! I give him 5 stars and highly recommend him! I put my trust in him to take care of my kidney needs And to treat my IgA nephropathy in order to stop its progression.

Compassion
I would like to acknowledge Dr. Tudor for being on time all the time.I live an hour away from Santa Fe and I was late 10 minutes for my appointment. Instead of canceling my appointment doctor Tudor graciously saw me on time. He showed great compassion telling me that he understands that I have to travel a lot for seeing a specialist. His assistant Shanine is great.

I really appreciate Dr. Tudor for keeping his office open during the COVID pandemic. When my primary care closed his office, I was able to get in touch with his staff and they help me with my prescriptions. Also, I was able to have a real office visit which is very important to me.

I had a lot of health problems which were quite challenging for many of my other physicians, but this doctor was able to keep me in balance. I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart.He does have a really good sense of humor.

Dr. Ocneanu, Is a very personable and caring Dr. far more than many in Santa Fe, my husband went to primary care Dr for 2 years who never once even mentioned a Kidney problem, when the data was clearly there in the labs, once we were able to get them from them and go to good Dr's, you would think a PCP would mention a 30% decrease in your Kidney functions, alas we are now seeing Dr. Tudor he tells it to you straight and what you need to do, no beating about the bush

Inconsiderate Dr. He said I did not care about myself and what was going on. Had me on a medication regimen for a little over a year and then let me go. Handed me off to another Dr. who then within two months of seeing the new Dr. found out immediately what was wrong and put me on the right track. He just seemed incompetent and liked the sound of his own voice.
