Not interested in Alzheimer patients
Wife was one of initial early Alzheimer’s Lecanemab patients. Dr Rabbani, Tangs partner apparently had a disagreement and resulted in Dr Tang taking over care, and Rabbani leaving the practice. Tang said he would not continue to prescribe. I insisted that he continue the already ongoing infusion treatment regimen, which he finally agreed to do. He later told us to find another physician, referring us to UCLA and USC, essentially abandoning us. His staff is very difficult to deal with, a reflection of the physician himself.

Arrogant and Unprofessional
My wife was diagnosed with epilepsy at age 6. While in the hospital for an unrelated injury which triggered her seizures, she was placed under the care of Dr. Tang. We only saw his PA, he ran numerous unnecessary tests, and refused to contact her neurologist who has treated her for 30 years. He had little time to talk with us and accused her of “having pseudo seizures which are often seen in people with depression and mental illness.” He was arrogant, had no compassion, and refused to honor our requests or listen to what we had to say. We felt very disrespected by him and talked down to. I would advise anyone against being treated by him.

Dr Tang needs qualified assistants
I had no problem with Dr Tang but unfortunately I was passed of to one of his assistants that actually gave me a prescription that made me deathly ill for 3 days. When my girlfriend called and got the after hours Dr and told him what I was taking, he was completely shocked and informed me not to take this prescription any more. That was 4 months ago and still no call from Dr Tangs office to follow up with me. Dr Tang needs to clean house before legal actions are taken.

Dr tang is one of the nicest Drs I've met. Unfortunately you have to deal with his staff more than you deal with him. They are TERRIBLE!! They are unprofessional, rude and they lie. I was unable to get a prescription that Dr Tang prescribed. after five phone calls, constant lies, two lectures and 28 days I finally told them I am done with them and that I would rather go without my Parkinson's meds before I would ever talk to one of these horrible human beings again.
