Terrifying consult
I'm not sure how this guy has good reviews. Maybe he is a great surgeon, but he gave me a terrifying prognosis. While he explained everything and he wasn't 'mean', he also told me that I would be in extreme pain, down and out and 'miserable' for 3 months after surgery. While two other surgeons suggested a less invasive surgery and said I'd be walking within days and back to work within weeks. Keep in mind I'm 32, fit, and healthy. He also pushed a pain med script on me when I never asked. Luckily, he was my third opinion on my surgery... if he had been my first opinion, I'd probably be on the floor in puddle of tears.

If you are currently on disability, DO NOT SEE THIS MAN, HE WILL CUT YOU OFF. He is horrible, This Dr is a joke, he’s heartless, he has no empathy. He has added stress beyond belief. Wants nothing to do with a patient who’s condition is a challenge, only clear cut diagnoses to pad his statistics. He actually said that my back pristine is.PRISTINE?!Really!?I have a slight herniation with a small leak at the L4 L5 disc, I have a fusion with screws and rods at my L5S1, it’s laughable if not true

We came down to see Dr Olson when so many Drs had stated there was nothing to do and even gave terminal illnesses. Dr took a look at my husband and immediate knew what had to be done. Dr is so compassionate and caring that he went out of his way to accommodate us as best he could. He is an excellent surgeon and has excellent bedside manners. We drove 1 1/2 hrs to go see him and wouldn't have it any other way. We are so grateful and now my husband has a second chance at life, Thank You Dr Olson!
