Dr. Tyehimba Hunt-Harrison, MD

Absolutely one of the rudest Doctors I have ever had the displeasure of meeting. Her unwillingness to listen to the parents and guardians was appalling. She did not follow through with agreed commitments, and cut short scheduled virtual meetings without responding to questions. She was not even willing to listen to parental concerns about their child. I have been in several meetings (both calls and in-person) with her and the parents and I was literally shocked at her lack of professionalism and blatant disregard of protocol. Her condescending attitude included accusing the parents of being more concerned about finances than their daughter's well-being. Hunt-Harrison's unwillingness to allow discharge for this patient jeopardized the parents' right to seek clearly-needed therapy not offered in the hospital setting. This whole interaction with this Dr. was beyond the pale.
