I got a sore on the side of my toe at the base. Being a diabetic I knew I needed to get it taken care of right away so I went to Dr Fiala. He looked at the toe and told me to get a tube of MediHoney and use that when I dressed the my toe at home. I would go to the doctor weekly and it kept letting worse so instead of sending me to a wound care facility, I was told to keep using MediHoney.Time came when the infection got into the bone and the only thing left to do was amputate the toe.

Dr. Fiala has been nothing but outstanding, I can't say enough good about him. He is very thorough, friendly, and personable. He truly cares about his patients and is not quick to jump to conclusions. The office staff and nurse are also always so amazing! I’ve been dealing with chronic foot pain ever since I rolled my ankle on a hike eight years ago. All other doctors were so fixated on bone spurs that the general recommendation every single time was stretching and weight loss, both of which never fully rectified the issue. After giving him a detailed history of the issue and former treatments, Dr. Fiala was instantly able to pinpoint the correct diagnosis: tarsal tunnel. With the treatment that he has given me, my quality of life has already improved so much. I am truly going to miss him since I am moving to Texas very soon. The wait times are occasionally longer, but this is due to him taking as much time as his patients need. The extra wait time is completely worth the outcome.

Dr Fiala is top notch. I will miss him as he relocates to Montana.

Dr. Fiala was professional, listened to my concerns, answered all questions, and recommended several options which were thorough and well explained! He is only podiatrist I’ve seen who didn’t respond that it was my age that was causing the issues. He assessed the options for my improvement and we agreed on next steps! This office staff was friendly, never scolded but was happy to be there!! This is the practice I will continue to use!! Great job!

The staff in general was very friendly except for one female staff member. I wish I had gotten her name but she is the person that ushered me to the Treatment room. She definitely needs to brush-up on her “friendly” skills. Dr. Fiala is superbly nice, listens and explains well, and is very easy to talk to. I highly recommend Louetta Foot & Ankle (Spring).
