Osteoporosis treatments
My impression is that Dr.Reddy does not really listen to me. It's like she has a speech prepared and will not deviate from it. I want to be seen as a person with a mind of my own, not just a "disease." While she appears to be quite knowledgeable, her recognition of me and my thoughts and feelings are never part of the visit.

Grateful for the time Dr. Reddy has spent with us as a healthcare provider. However, would not recommend her from a patient care perspective, especially for immigrant families. Dr. Reddy lacks empathy when dealing with patients and doesn't show a strong sense of competence when asked questions to help clarify understanding. She should work on her soft skills as well as her hard skills in the application of medicine. Her ability to take into account the patient's history of health issues when providing care is shaky at best.

Called to schedule an appointment with a Dr. Reddy whom I've seen for years and was told that I would need a referral from a my primary, who is also at Tryon, to schedule the appointment. I offered to send over my chart from Atrium with my history along with Dr. Reddy's notes that it was time for my appointment and the type of appointment that needed to be scheduled and the receptionist advised she would send an urgent message to the Dr. Reddy's nurse, whom again I've seen for 4 years, but then hung up without actually getting my name, number, or any contact information. I was hoping to follow her to Tryon for a better customer service experience than Atrium but so far not impressed and will now we looking for another Specialist.

I called last week to have my daughters DDAVP prescription renewed... and was told they would call me back. They never did. And when I called again the following TUESDAY .. I was told they left a message. They did not. Now my daughter wears a medical alert bracelet stating she is DDAVP dependent ... and when we went to get her medicine the first time we were told by the pharmacy only one bottle was renewed. She needs it to stay alive. And when we went Tuesday... the following week.. the pharmacy

The one visit I had with Dr, Reddy was not satisfactory. She did most of the talking and I could barely get my medical history in. Even though I had a history of seeing an endocrinologist and I was trying to establish one after moving, she acted like I had no idea what I was telling her. Her style of care came across in a demeaning way and I did not appreciate it. She also continued to direct me to a GP, which is crazy because they would only send me to an endocrinologist!

Dr. Reddy checked the obvious signs of hypothyroidism. Excessive hair, she said I wasn't overly hairy however I'm am very hairy for MY ethnic background. She said I didn't have a lot of stretch marks but I actually do have a lot stretch marks on every area possible for no children. I've always been active but overweight. She said my levels were normal. In response, normal doesn't mean my levels are optimal for me. Dr. Reddy suggested I move more eat less=/ The nurse looked at me like stop eating!
