Wish I could see her again - Insurance difficulty.
I haven't seen Dr. Thatch in a while due to insurance stupidity, but I wish I could just afford to pay out of pocket. If it wasn't for her expertise, it would not have been discovered that I had full blown osteoporosis at age 47 and then was treated for it. That early diagnosis might have saved my life. She is a good listener, does not discount anything that I ever had to say about my health issues and was proactive with asking question to identify health issues that she noted and that I was avoiding dealing with. Wonderful doctor, wonderful person. Her staff was also VERY patient with me when I was in distress and very cranky --- they were great, too.

Rude, Inappropriate, Unprofessional
She was very rude, inappropriate, and unprofessional. She told me during my very first GYN appointment to "spread my legs like I would with a boyfriend." She made a follow-up appointment 6 months later to check on my new prescription and then during appointment asked me why I was there. She acted like she didn't know what was going on or who I was. When I confirmed that I knew when my next appointment was she berated me at the reception desk and said, "well you need to sit down and make sure it is in your phone." Very unpleasant person. I would not recommend anyone, especially young girls, go see her. 0/5 stars. She doesn't just have poor bedside manner, she is awful.

She is caring and thorough. She treats her patients with extraordinary care. She found my ovarian cancer at a very early stage and got me to the right oncologist. Best gynecologist I have ever seen.

Dr. Thatch is a wonderful doctor. She takes time with her patients. She gives thorough exams. She explains things very clearly. She is truly concerned about her patients well being rather it be a medical problem or a personal issue. Dr Thatch made me feel comfortable. I am sorry to hear that she is leaving her practice in gynecology, but I wish her well in her future practice in Hormone Replacement. Thank you Dr. Thatch for all you've done for me. Sheila J. Bowens
