Zero concern for patient care or satisfaction
I had been a patient for several years at Lotus Dermatology and been very satisfied with the PA who provided my care. But recently, I had a terrible experience simply trying to get an RX refilled. I called repeatedly over a week & a half, and never reached a nurse in real time. I left explicit voice mails twice specifying the RX & pharmacy, but the nurses didn't listen. They just called back & left a vm with the # nobody answers. Finally, I called the receptionist & asked her to give my specific RX request to the nurses. I got concerned when she looked at my RX records & described pills & powder I'd never taken -- my medicine is a cream -- so I asked her to add records correction to the message.) Finally a nurse called , I described my frustration with phone tag delaying my refill, & questioned my records. She cleared up the RX confusion, said she'd get my refill done & share my concerns with management. A week later, no RX & THE DR. SENT A LETTER DISCHARGING ME 4 DISPARAGING STAFF?!

Harassing
I went for an appointment very early in the day and it still was an hour wait, but that isn't the problem. The staff and doctors did a fine job I suppose. The problem came after... they sent me a letter saying I owe money. I called and asked about it because it is not possible. The staff kept giving me the runaround when i asked for details only to say "I don't know, but you owe money. Call your insurance company". I did that and went through my entire year of transactions with my insurance company. They told me I don't owe anyone money. Anyway, they continue to send harassing letters and phone calls asking for money and threatening to send me to collections. They have never given me a reason I owe money or where they came up with the dollar amount I owe. I have also asked to speak to someone that may be able to explain their problem better to no avail. I guess if you pay them money you don't owe them they are ok at being doctors, but as far as reasonable, they arent.

I'm a 74 year old male who spent much of my time in the sun. Consequently I now have developed various skin cancers on my body at numerous intervals' of time with some requiring surgical removal. In all instances, one of the Physicians have been successful in removal with no consequences. All the staff are very kind, helpful and professional. When I say I trust them with my life, It is an actually an accurate statement.

I arrived April 15, 2021 for my 1 PM appointment on time. The waiting room was packed, so I said I would wait in my car as I shouldn’t have to wait long because my appointment is now. I was called in 1 1/2 hours late at 2:30 PM. When I complain to Dr. Patel that that was unfair to keep us waiting when we were on time and they just came early because they felt like it, he said well I don’t mind I don’t have a problem with that! My next appointment was June 10 at 4 PM. I called at 3:30 PM and asked if he was running on time. The receptionist called me back and said he’s running 20 minutes late. So I rip arrived precisely at 4:20 PM and was told I was 20 minutes late and I said that you told me he was 20 minutes behind and the receptionist said well he caught up and now we have to reschedule you because he has to leave early today!!! I said I drive an hour each way and she said he can’t see you today he’s leaving early!!! How selfish and rude!
