I was so ecstatic to see Dr. Raju had returned to the office. This glee was supported by the fact that what I had been saying about my eyes was NOT just dry eye or my imagination.

I saw an assistant named Haley and she was terrific. She gave the best pre-doctor work-up ever. Answered all of my questions. Very personable. Your clinic is very lucky to have her. Dr. Raju is the best eye surgeon in West Virginia....without a doubt!

Dr Raju is a wonderful dr. I started seeing him when I was in my teens and am now 30. When u go to him he is a little outside of the box when he talks to you but he is very knowlegable. My son als sees him. I see the reviews that talk about insurance issues, that is the patients responsibility to know their coverage before they go to any healthcare professional. Know your coverage and ask appropriate questions and if something is off then speak to billing. Overall great Office and dr.

One of the first things Dr. Raju said to me was that my face was lovely but I needed to work on losing weight (I am paraphrasing here). Since Dr. Raju is an ophthalmologist, it seemed like an inappropriate comment for him to make. I left before he tested my eyes, so I did not receive the medical care I needed. Dr. Raju could consider a career change to weight management coach, or beauty pageant judge. At the very least he should enroll in sensitivity training.

Report said I had cateracts but he never said anything to me. Was there for one and 1/2 hrs. Copay was supposed to be $10 he charged me $35 copay since I had indicated that I had pre-diabetes. Apparently the vision insurance won't pay for services if its a medical exam. I had come in for a vision exam and I didn't even get the refraction exam?? The problem with Dr. Raju was that when I questioned why, he simply suggested that I not come back and go see another doctor. Quite rude!
