Dr. Vahan Kassabian, MD

Extremely short with me, especially after my cystoscopy procedure. Didn't at all link his 5 second feedback ("you have an inflamed prostate, don't do X, Y and Z") to my original issues I went in for, which was blood in my urine, and urinary frequency since highschool. He also said he could measure my bladder capacity during the procedure. No detail or explanation was given about how my prostate is causing any of this, or how that actually works, or if it's normal for my age, etc. He didn't mention my bladder capacity at all, straight up ignored that request. After a procedure like that, if you decide to do it under anesthesia, you're very sedated so it's hard to ask the right questions - in my attempt to ask a question, his response was literally, I quote: "I just told you." He was walking away before I could think of anything more. Staff was nice, but I'd suggest finding someone who simply cares more. I felt a great sense of over confidence and low sense of care.

Not empathic or sympathy shown to me. Very Cold to be a doctor!

My experience was awful. Back in January I was diagnosed with clear cell renal carcinoma, which grew to 15.cm by the time it was taken out. Thankfully I did have him do it. He actually came into the examining room totally unprepared, he had not even looked at my scans. He had an accusatory tone. He could not believe I did not feel it in me, or see blood in my urine or loose excessive weight. This was picked up by my PCP after finding microscopic blood in my urine. He then went to show me where it was, that I should be able to see it. He could not locate it or feel it. He then informed me I had stage 4 cancer and the difficulty that he would have removing the tumor. Without going into too much detail, he was going to chop me up, failed to mention he was going to remove a rib. I left there in despair, my son and husband who were with me recorded his lack of compassion and matter a fact attitude. He then went on to say he and only one other surgeon in the Atlanta area could preform this

I have called upon the expertise of Doctor Kassabian over past 12 years. My experience with this superb doctor has always resulted in positive improvements in my health. Without exception, Doctor Kassabian demonstrates excellent listening skills to hear my concerns, answers my questions, etc. before offering his solutions. I truly value our relationship. In my most recent visit to Advanced Urology, I was similarly impressed with the professionalism of support staff.

Dr. Kassabian was one of the most wonderful Dr's we have been to. In a rather scary time for my husband he was so calm, reassuring, and patience. The office staff is kind, thorough and efficient. I am so glad we found Dr. Kassabian and glad he will be there to guide us through.

I have never been in such pain and distress, having never experienced kidney stones before. But Dr. Kassabian and the team at Advanced Urology was beyond amazing in their professionalism, care and respect. I love these people!!!

The staff at Advanced Urology was pleasant and efficient.Dr. Kassabian had pre-read my file, and was prepared to act on my condition. I Love doctor's who directly deal with the issues and talk with me, not at me. Mayra was great in communicating with me and my previous physician group, getting records and communicating well.

Just as described, no surprises

Dr K is a magnificent physician. Has kept me alive for about 12 years and I have total trust in his his management of my post-prostate cancer experience. Don't come any better in my opinion!

Dr. Kassabian and the entire staff has been wonderful! Dr. Kassabian explained everything to me so good and helped me make very wise decisions for my care. I finally have found a urologist group that seems to really care about my health and taking care of my needs ASAP! On top of all the great care...they actually answer the phone and you can talk to a human right away!!!

He performed HIFU surgery on me, with great results Great bedside manner.
