Dr. Vahideh Ameri, MD

She attended my first labor and it was a terrific experience. She did not have the compassion to ask the local anesthetic is effective before she cut me during labor. It was a horrible experience when she sutured with the whole pain. I never recommend her to anyone.

I was in extreme pain for over a month and happened to reach the end of my rope being 34 weeks pregnant and worsening pain. Unfortunately I had my appointment with her that day and not my regular ob. She told me to see a counselor, increase my medicine, and said there was no indication to put me out even though I’m a nurse and am constantly lifting patients and bending, and standing on my feet for long hours (12+). In her words there’s no restrictions for lifting in pregnancy and I would have to go out unpaid. I went to the chiropractor that day as I was hysterical in pain, turns out my sacrum was completely out of place and after being adjusted I feel amazing. Thanks for blaming my mental health though! And not listening to me about my pain! Will never see her again.

I used to work for this doctor. She bad mouths her patients and refuses to speak to them over the phone. She is a miserable person. You don’t want her as your gyn. Trust me, she doesn’t like her patients.

I find she is the worst doctor ever. No bedside manner at all and always in a rush. Thinks she is a big shot. Would not recommend to anyone.

I have been seeing Dr. Ameri when she joined my now retired OB/GYN. She is personable, answers all questions. Also my adult daughter sees her. She doesn't chastise me about my weight as she probably knows that would put woman my age off in coming in for a yearly exam.

Dr. Ameri is outstanding. She always answers my questions in a non-judgemental way. She has always also available whenever I need her. She delivered both of my girls and I couldn't have asked for a better doctor.
