Dr. Val Prokurat, MD of NJ Advanced Surgical Solutions was fantastic! He is a talented surgeon that used the daVinci Robotic Surgery System to repair my hernia. He explained everything about the surgery, was compassionate, and his follow-up was great. Highly recommend.

I had gastric bypass and hernia repair surgery with Dr. Prokurat over 8 years ago and he is by far the most competent and caring surgeon I have ever experienced. I felt completely confident going into the surgery because he took the time to carefully explain everything and answer my questions. His post-surgery care was exceptional and the followup over the years shows he truly cares for each of his patients. I am looking at another possible abdominal surgery (unrelated) and even though I've moved and he is over an hour away now, I wouldn't consider another surgeon.

Dr. Prokurat performed my gastric sleeve surgery on December 3rd, 2020. He is an exceptional care giver, experienced, and above all committed to his patient’s health. My surgery was done flawlessly and I have had a smooth recovery. In less than one month I lost 30 lbs, I took back control over my life, I am adapting to a healthier lifestyle, unlearning old habits, and reclaiming the health and happiness lost from neglecting myself for so many years. If you are looking for a surgeon who truly cares about his patients, then Dr. Prokurat is that man. He is so caring and truly cares about his patients. I would trust Dr. Prokurat with my own child. I had surgery in September and afterward I had questions. Dr. Prokurat called me back each and every time I called and spent as much time as I needed with him until he was sure I was comfortable. I would highly recommend Dr. Prokurat after witnessing his care of my 80 year old mother while in ICU. He removed her diseased gallbladder and worked with her team of doctors to get her back to a healthy state. He was kind, compassionate, gave personal attention and had a terrific bed side manner.

Dr. Prokurat is so easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable and confident immediately.

Very good experience, I had a minor surgery with this Dr and he is very supportive in explaining me the issue and given me the comfortableness and confidence, also the follow up visit with him was good, I would recommend this Dr for any general surgical issues.
