Responsive, Highly Knowledgeable, Patient
My experiences with Dr. Raup have very easy and reassuring. Her bedside manner was very personable and friendly . She also definitely knows her stuff, and was able to explain both anatomy and care in a way that was easy to understand. Would recommend!

unresponsive and couldn't care less
During the visit, this doctor couldn't care less about me. Confirmed what I felt after my visit when I reached out to her regarding the exam results (she should have reached out to me in the first place!) and get no response via phone calls and messages on myChart. Worst experience ever and if you'd like to get nothing out of your visit, go ahead.

Get a second opinion.
I had an in-hospital kidney stent done by Dr. Raup. She never spoke to me after the procedure. At my out patient follow-up her office was packed and the wait long. Her trainee attempted my procedure, insertion of a camera and removal of the stent, without anesthesia. It was excruciating and unsuccessful. Dr. Raup then equally painfully repeated the procedure. When I said how painful it was she replied if I didn’t behave they’d have to do it a third time. She was rude, dismissive and disinterested, and referred to me as an old vagina to her trainee. She left a piece of stent in me which I urinated out days later. Diagnostics by a new doctor showed that her hospital work had not fully addressed my medical needs. Separately, she provided great post-hospitalization and office procedure pain meds which I absolutely needed. I can’t recommend her and would not go back to her. Get a second opinion.

Sorry there’s no 0 star option.
I had a 12:00 appt and arrived at 11:30 to an employee with an attitude off the bat. I waited until 12:15 to be taken to an exam room. Not too bad. The nurse was a pleasure, she took my vitals, weight, pressure, etc. stated the Dr. will be in shortly and shut the door. Half hour goes by, 45 minutes goes by and hour goes by. At 1:15 I open the door to see if the building had been evacuated and maybe I didn’t hear the alarms. As I open the door the nurse looks like she’s returning from lunch. She sees me and look’s surprised and says you’re still here? Did anybody see you yet? I say no nobody has come I. Here since you left. She apologizes and goes to check out what’s going on. At 1:25 she comes back apologizes again and says the Dr. is backed up and currently on a video visit. On a video visit? While I’m sitting in an exam room for over an hour? I thanked them for nothing and left the office without seeing a Dr. First and last visit for me to Dr Raup. Stay away from this place.
