Dr. Allen holds herself out to be a menopause specialist and is "certified" by the North American Menopause Society; however, she was very dismissive of my concerns and offered no real relief without providing any foundation or explanation as to why. It is as if she has never read a single study published after 2003 regarding menopause and readily-available and efficacious treatments. Also, she spoke to me as if I had no knowledge about my own body anatomy and the way the female reproductive cycle works. It was shocking how condescending she was towards me. She may be a good obstetrician, but I wouldn't recommend her for any other kind of gynecological treatment outside of pregnancy.

Dr. Allen did a thorough examination and explained everything. She ordered some diagnostic tests and responded immediately to the results -- I felt like she cared -- she is compassionate and thorough. It was my first visit with her and I felt immediately comfortable with her and feel I can trust her advice. I am definitely going to see her again and highly recommend her.

I waited twice over 1 hour to consult this Dr. after my set appointment time! Felt disrespected discriminated by the front desk staff.
