My son was prescribed a medication for nodular acne. After being prescribed the medication, which cannot be listed in the Review Title, my son had a reaction so bad it resulted in an increased white blood-cell count. My son attended telehealth visits ON CAMERA, so his skin was visible. Dr. Callender saw the lab results and said he was anemic. He's never been anemic. That was inaccurate because after I sent my son to his pediatrician who immediately called the ER, Anne Arundel Hospital to expect his arrival, it was determined that my son had an infection due to improper dosing. From that point, the ER called Dr. Callender informing her of the issue and advised discontinuing the medication. He was put on an antibiotic and steroid for extreme inflammation and infection. Now, he's being treated properly by a caring doctor in Rockville. Also, he has had a great amount of facial scaring which will require surgery. This was traumatic for my son and our family. True. I have all the receipts.

I'm pretty sure all these 5 stars are for the doctor because she is great. But about her fron desk team especially Ms. Mason. She is very unprofessional and rude for no reason. No reply to my email after she asked me to email her my questions and when I called back the next day to follow-up since I didn't hear back from her, her response was that they typically don't reply to emails (I hope our conversation was recorded). I'm not sure why she wasted my time and I still have not gotten all my prescriptions and I'm not sure what's going on. A simple follow-up call/email can go a long way. It's just so frustrating.

Today was my first appointment with Dr. Callender. It took a little time for them to get around to seeing me, but hey, they were nice enough to call me this morning and work me in anyway, way ahead of my scheduled appointment. Her office was clean and modern. She and her staff were very professional and courteous. I value those things highly. I was happy at the outcome of my visit.

I did not see Dr. Callendar. This rating is in regard to the practice overall. I saw a Physician's Assistant. The doctor was not available during the time that I was looking to have an appointment scheduled as a new patient. I had difficulty getting my RX sent to my insurance company and was supposed to have someone call me to schedule a biopsy, which never happened- but due to the poor service I will look for another office for dermatology.

I've been seeing her for years the best thing ever.I love how the Doctors listen to make sure you're getting the best care. I wish I could give her 10 stars cause they deserve it. When I tell people about her they love her too, you will continue to go.

I had a scalp culture done 8 weeks ago and after several weeks of no followup calls from the doctor, I finally tried calling them. After four failed attempts with no return call I finally gave up and went some where else. They seem to be more interested in getting your co-pay then getting you results! Awful!

I was disappointed in the amount of time the doctor spent with me. I was a returning patient (after a 2-year absence). She did not give me any new information. It seems as though I was prompting her/reminding her of my condition and what drugs she had originally prescribed. It appears that she did not have a file on me; she did not say whether or not a follow-up visit would be required, so I did not schedule one. I drive 2 hours to get to her office and probably will not return.
