Dr. Valerie Scholten, MD

Dr scholten took me on as a last minute patient ahead of my birth. I always felt like she took her time with us and wanted to hear every last question and concern. I was so pleased she delivered my son and I felt 100 percent in the most capable hands.

Dr. Scholten has been my Doctor for 26 years. She delivered my second son 21 years ago. She is smart and the office is great. I prefer to see Jill. Last week was the first time I met Jill the Np and she was amazing. I highly recommend.

I have been a patient of Dr. Scholten for about 15yrs. Besides being a truly competent OB/GYN she is genuinely kind and compassionate. She has a calming and assuring demeanor. I have never felt rushed with Dr. Scholten as she has always been so gracious and patient in listening to my many questions. She has called me personally on many occasions. As I have a substantial family history of cancers, I feel confident that I am in the best of care. She keeps me accountable in taking care of myself which I am so thankful for. Her staff is just amazing as well! For these reasons among many more Dr. Scholten is never allowed to retire!

Dr. Scholten delivered my twins this year. I was very nervous about the high risk Pregnancy but everyone was very reassuring and they always got me in for same day appointments of needed. Everyone from the front office girls to the Lab technician to the PA Jill all the way to Dr. Scholten and Dr. Suntay treat their patients with the upmost care. Dr. Scholten delivered my babies within 10 minutes of pushing. It was so easy and relaxing. Amazing right!? Thank you everyone at Desert Sage!

I had an appt with Dr Scholten today. I realized I have been going to her office even before my girls were born. My oldest is 13 yrs old. I thanked her for the wonderful care I've received over the years. I have experienced other doctors cutting corners because healthcare is changing. I'm thankful that she still upholds her standards and genuinely cares about my health and well being. She is truly a doctor I every sense of the word.

I love Dr. Scholten. She has been my physician for about 15 years. She delivered both of my beautiful children and could not have asked for a better experience. It is awesome to find a physician who has years of experience and actually loves what she does. I have recommended her to several of my friends and they have all had positive experiences.
