Bad Interaction
I had two office visits with Dr. Djafari. He was unfriendly, disinterested and bored. I came away with the impression that he didn't like patients or feel that he had to listen to them and explain their conditions and options. I gave him the benefit of the doubt as far as his knowledge and medical skill were concerned, but then it occurred to me that I would not want him operating on me due to his terrible bedside manner. After my second visit, I cancelled my next appointment and have no intention of going back.

The good doctor should understand that there’s more than one person in the room and that having a license to practice medicine does not make him infallible, and does not preclude him from having to know how and when to answer patient questions. Bedside manner is more than a phrase and customer service applies to all businesses and professionals.

Dr. Djafari's has been my doctor for over three years and I could not be happier. He is so thorough and professional and answers any questions I have . His staff is so professional also, but oh, so nice and friendly. I have never been more pleased with any doctor. He gets 5 stars in my opinion.

My first visit to Texas Retina Institute was several days ago. I was referred to Dr. Djafari by the Veterans Administration. Dr. Djafari so impressed me that I felt like I was family. He fully explained everything. The entire staff is knowledgeable and so very friendly. He will now be my eye doctor. There's no doubt about it !
