Dr. Van Christiansen, MD

He is always very thorough and direct. Which very much appreciated.

Lack of communication between doctor and nurse, or patient and doctor. Told me to do lab work then showed me the door. I left feeling rushed, and disappointed.Second, they wanted to chose an ear doc for me, I said no I'll do that, then the next day I'm getting phone calls for an ear doctor to make an appointment.

I have had two interactions with the front desk at this location and have found them to be abrupt and unwelcoming each time. I was seen as a patient this last time and my med tech was very pleasant and efficient. Dr. Van Christiansen was pleasant, efficient, thorough, and addressed all of my concerns. I used the on-campus pharmacy and found them to be extremely accommodating, pleasant, and fast.

We went in 20 minutes before urgent care was wrapping up. Dr. Christiansen was friendly and very thorough.

Funny guy. I like that in a doctor.

Outstanding healthcare provider. Dr. Christiansen is very good to make sure and answer all of my questions and acknowledge all of my concerns. He goes out of his way to care for his patients. Our entire family is extremely pleased with his outstanding care.

Dr. Christiansen (Dr.C) ignored me when I explained that there was pain in my hips. It went on for several years and kept getting worse. Time and again I suggested he refer me to get an MRI. He refused and said my hip pain was normal for my age. After several turned down requests for an MRI I went to another Dr. whom agreed immediately to refer me for an MRI. The MRI revealed a torn labrum in each hip which needed surgery to repair. The Doctor who performed the surgery said the damage was much worse due to Dr. C failing to refer me for an MRI earlier. I have never gone back to Dr. C. His incompetence in my case was inexcusable.

I dont always enjoy going to Dr. Christiansen. But he always does me right. Him and his staff are friendly and straight to the point and me and my family will keep coming back to him.

Dr. Christianson did a fabulous job with my grandson made him feel very comfortable on his very first visit with him

I used the Telemedicine connection for this visit. It was great. Dr. Christiansen talked with me and viewed a photo I had taken of my rash, and then ordered a Rx for me. All without me having to come in to the clinic.

Visit was good. He did as a Dr should and got after me about my blood sugar. As an aside, I don't think he likes cats!

I have seen Dr. Christiansen for many years and I love the fact that he talks to you like an intelligent person. He also has a good sense of humor as he goes about his business.

All were friendly, quick and thorough. My questions were answered and my prescriptions were filled. Love going in the morning!

I’ve never been treated worse by a physician. The providers my family and I have seen at this practice are unprofessional. Both of the providers I saw didn’t know how to treat my issue or chose not to because they were too busy stereotyping and didn’t want to take the time to figure out the problem. Do not waste your time or money if you have anything to address that isn’t related to a seasonal illness.

Van is a great doctor. He listens to your ailment and usually cures you.

never write reviews but I feel I had to warn others of Dr. Christiansen. I went in for upper abdominal pain a week after having a miscarriage. My husband was with me, and we were shocked at the way we were treated. After explaining my miscarriage, Dr. Christiansen sarcastically asked "Did you cry?"
