I would love to give Dr. Long an excellent review. She is very caring and answers all questions i have had. I wasn't treated with the same caring and professional attitude in procedure room, and was cancelled cause the dr who took blood pressure reading at time was listening to nurse on duty who seemed to convince him that i wasn't ready. I felt that it wasn't right thing to do especially since Dr. Long had already known blood pressure readings before. I know Dr. Long isn't fault cause she doesn't obviously know the nurse talked me out of procedure. I hope she doesn't do that to anyone else.

I went to Dr. Long to get an appointment to have a Colonoscopy. It didn’t take a lot of time to get the appointment for the actual procedure. She came highly recommended by my Pastor and his wife. She did my colonoscopy without any pain or complications. I was pleased there wasn’t any high fee due prior to the procedure like at another practice I went to first. It definitely worked out to my advantage being forced to cancel at the other doctor’s office. Greatful I went to Dr. Long.

Horrible visit. Like some of the others I too felt put off and as if I was annoying her. I sat in the waiting room for over an hour then once seen she would talk over me as if she was in a rush to get out. When I told her I was a nurse when she was explaining to me about something she says to me,"why didn't you tell me". Why should I need to tell you?

I recently moved to area and sought a GI doctor to continue to follow my condition. The doctor did not listen to my summary of my medical history - as evidence by her "questions" (e.g. sweeping statements) later in the conversation. It was clear that she thought she felt that my appointment/case was beneath her. I was the first appointment of the day and was very put off. I have never had such an unpleasant experience with a provider.

Dr Long was referred to me, my office visit was pleasant & thorough. After reviewing my results previously ordered by my primary, Dr Long discussed the results, afterwards offering her opinion. She concluded a colonoscopy should be done to provide a better diagnosis. That procedure went smooth no problems. My post op visit was equally pleasant, she explained the results, made sure I understood, discussed initiatives for me to follow. I was very happy with my first experience with her.

She takes time to review results of tests and scope results. When my GI tract acts up I have been able to get an appointment quickly. Caring and compassionate.

Dr Long took over my file after another physician with the practice retired. I had never met her before my procedure but was immediately put at ease. She was calming about the procedure and extremely kind and professional. I was immediately comfortable in and uncomfortable situation. After the procedure she spoke with my husband and he was impressed as well. She explained with such clarity. I am grateful to have had this caring physician.
