Dr. Vanessa Al Rashida, MD

Dr Al Rashida has been out PCM for a few years and has been excellent. She even cares for our disabled son and is able to meet his needs and special issues.

Worst doctor ever! Spent very little time with me, referred me to a plethora of specialists, got my diagnoses wrong to referrals, and would not address concerns I had with her. Would not recommend

Went to Dr. Al Rashida for a 2nd opinion on symptoms and a condition in which has been going on for almost two months. Was given a thorough exam and was given a list of more than 8 different things that it could be, and seemed like she was stating them and waiting for my direction as if I was the physician. At the end asked what her medical opinion was. Labs were performed (same as in a prior visit with another provider) and was referred to a cardiologist (asked me if I wanted to vs recommending) as I've had a long history of high BP readings in my chart and symptoms matched. At the end of the interaction, she darted off to her next appointment and was almost in a rush to get out of the office and not deal with my condition or offer follow-through or a gameplan if the current diagnostics didn't find anything wrong. She seemed like she just didn't care or believe what I was saying, she seemed disinterested and almost annoyed that I was sharing my symptoms with her.

I have never left a bad review. I make a point to review excellence as it is too often overlooked. BUT... If you would like to be dismissed, spoken down to and disregarded this is your doctor! I am beyond disappointed. When I first met Dr. Al Rashida I thought "wow" she was attentive and seemed to genuinely care. Fast forward 2 years and she is a completely different doctor. She clearly doesn't like people, what she does for a living or maybe it is were she does it. I do not know her story; but I know how I felt when I left her office and I wish that on no one. I expected more from a primary and a women.

Our family goes to Dr. Al Rashida and we love her. She is professional and gets you in and out and on your way. Thanks Doc!

I have been a patient of Dr. al Rashida's for the past 2 years. Previously, I had been with my PCP for close to 10 years, but he was no longer an option after switching health insurance providers. Dr. al Rashida is very professional, pleasant and thorough. As a PCP, she is willing to refer me specialists and order necessary tests. She is quite comprehensive in her approach to total wellness. She is not just reactive (solving the problem/illness), but also proactive in finding out "why" (the origin/source of the problem), in her approach. I have an upcoming appointment with her Sept 6, 2022, and needed to look up her phone number to change my appointment time (if possible) and came across this website and reviews. I'm very surprised with her rating (with no explanation), and felt the need to share my own personal experience with her. I guess the greatest compliment I can pay to Dr. al Rashida is that I suggested my own sister and mother use her as their PCP.
