Horrible! They’ll made you wait for 1.5 hours in the room for the doctor to come. No excuse! They should’ve told you if the doctor has a procedure so I could be rescheduled. Wasted about 2.5 hours of your day. Left and find a new doctor with better staff!

I haven’t even been here yet and I would give the practice zero stars. Customer service/ reception was horrible. I scheduled an appointment two months a head of time as a new patient. I get a call the day before my appointment saying they can’t accommodate my appointment time due to me being a new patient. Which I completely understand, then they said they had an opening later that day which I couldn’t make. After saying that they stated they couldn’t accommodate me at all. They did admit the error was on their end. As a company in whole if the error was in their end they should be able to accommodate a person trying to get in who waited two months. I understand that providers are buys but the scheduling and reception did not care and told me I would have to wait a longer period of time. Very disappointed and I haven’t even been here yet. Let alone I was passed around to three people. At this point I am finding a different practice even if I have to wait again.

I have been a patient with Elgin family physicians for 27 years and have only seen Dr Gupta once, on my last visit. I’ve heard stories about doctors that treat smokers as though they deserve every bad thing that happens to them but I’ve never met one until my appointment with Dr Gupta. She needs to get over her very imperfect self.

As are other Doctors in my 10+ years experience with this practice, Dr. Gupta is an excellent Doctor. She spends appropriate time and listens, but is not a pill or procedure pusher. HOWEVER, there are frequent problems with: the phone system, answering system, patient portal and contacting supporting staff.

The doc prescribed an ultrasound for thyroid and it seems little serious. Even after a week of taking the ultrasound, they did not review the results or called the patient to discuss about the results. They don't care about the stress the patient is going through not knowing the results. Even after calling thrice the staffs where reluctant and lethargic about the request. Messages sent in their portal is of no use. Nobody cares to respond. Very poor patient care.

Dr Gupta she is very nice .but staff are very bed.
