Excellent, thorough physician
Dr. Raghuraman is by far the finest gastroenterologist in Tulsa. He takes a thorough history. Very conscientious with a professional bedside manner. 10 out of 10, would highly recommend!! I'm willing to guess that the reviews that question his bedside manner and call him dismissive aren't getting the answers they want to hear. He does not paint blue skies where there are none. Straight shooter who tells it like it is.

Horrible bedside manner.
Interrupted everything I said. Was very rude and dismissive. Even when I was trying to answer his questions he didn’t let me get a word out. Also, told me that running was doing me no good and I need to do weight training before I could tell him that I run AND do some light weights.

Very professional, to the point, efficient
I have seen a few of the 1-star reviews and of course was a bit concerned. It turns out that Dr. Raghuraman (Dr. Raman) is an efficient/effective professional with a style I have found often in my professional life (IT, Software, AI) among highly intelligent individuals who 'get-things-done'. I LIKED IT. His questions during the visit were to-the-point, clear, and honest. Followed up with a procedure; again the follow-up was efficient, clear, and to-the-point. In short, I think he will not sugar-coat, 'chit-chat', or console. But my impression is that he is very good.

Dr Ramen saved my life
I met him in ER with stomach bleeding over 10 years ago. I first we argued because he told me to make all these changes. I had liver disease and didn't even know it. He referred me to a specialist in Oklahoma City. I ended up with liver cancer and a transplant a few years later. In the meantime, I saw him for all of my local needs. I had several bleeding episodes. He helped me change my diet and lifestyle. He was very persistent and didn't give up on me. I had a post liver transplant visit with him last week. He has moved to a different hospital and I didn't know if I would like the change. It was great to see him again. He did an upper and lower GI. That's an EGD and colonoscopy. Everything was great and I see him again in 5 years. He is smart and I followed his advice. He saved my life, and I am so glad he is still in practice in Tulsa.

I saw this doctor a few years back and he diagnosed me with ibs. I have been suffering ever since, I called this clinic to find out the name of the medication the doctor had recommended for me only to find out that the clinic was being closed and no one would give me any answers as to why or where they were moving. I requested my medical records and it appeared almost as if this doctor did not exist and I had never seen him. Still to this day years later I am in severe pain and have lost a great deal of weight and cannot get an appointment with him to follow up and find out what and why. Don't waste your time find a different doctor.

Had a terrible experience with Dr. Raghuraman. Rudest doctor I’ve ever encountered. Any time he asked me a question he would cut me off and not let me finish. He was very argumentative and kept contradicting the things he was saying. He didn’t listen to anything I said. Do yourself a favor and go another route.

Took 3 months to get appt. then spent 10 minutes on a new patient visit. Ask what medications I was taking and told me to continue the over the counter even though I told him they were not working. He told me to lose weight and that would control my symptoms. I have Barrett's Esophagus and have had increasing heartburn and esophageal reflux. His solution is to lose weight, nothing else.Told me to strengthen the diaphragm with exercise-gave no instructions. Drug reps got more time than pts.
