Very pleasant and knowledgeable. Staff is great! Always accommodating. Has a lab so I can do everything at once at one place. Highly recommended.

Used to Be a Good Place for Primary Care
Unfortunately, this has become a concierge practice for those who can afford to pay over $2000 a year for the privilege of accessing the practice. There are a bunch of extra benefits listed, but many are covered by insurance. Even those who have co-pays for primary care and tests would have to need a lot of them to cover the annual entry fee. It's too bad that with the shortage of primary care doctors, especially a good one, that one more practice is gone.

Staff is belittling and rude. Communication is reprehensible. Level of "care" is abysmal. Office is dirty, with pet hair. Sense that the doctor is only in it for the money, no real concern for patients. Now the doctor is charging a membership fee for this. Laughable.

Terrible doctor!
Told to go to urgent care for antibiotics! I have been a patient for many years! I was just in for my wellness check-up! I came down with bronchitis and am high risk with COPD! They were busy and couldn’t fit me in for appointment! Actually stated that I needed antibiotics, refused to prescribe! I asked about an order for a chest X-ray! Told to go to urgent care! No way to run a practice!

Disappointing treatment.
I have been a patient of Dr. Solheim for many years. I had a six month routine check on March 11, 2024 with her Nurse Practitioner. When I was called back I mentioned to the nurse that my husband drove me, was waiting outside and was very ill. I was moved to another room where I sat for over an hour. At 12:10, I got up and looked all directions in the hall and saw no one. I decided to leave because I had had enough. I did leave and found myself another doctor. No one ever contacted me to ask if there was a problem or why I had left. Strange way to run a practice.

Does not seem concerned about the actual health of patients. Even routine checks are ignored. Messages are either not conveyed or outright misconstrued. Curt treatment by staff. Talked down to and belittled by staff. I do not trust their care.

Been going to Dr. Solheim for about 5 years moved here. Haven't seen the Dr. For 2 years(PA'S). Been on the same medication for the 5yrs. Few months ago feeling very ill they didn't have any appointments for 5days. I took it as I was very sick. Saw PA she did blood work. They call me a couple days later tell me my kidney function was stage 4 failure and dr will see me in a month, A MONTH. Just so happen saw my heart dr the next week and he was mortified I had not been referred to a kidney specialist. There was no follow up by Dr solheim for any of my problems. She was just concerned I come in in May for my Medicare wellness check. Run as fast as you can from this dr.

Dr. Solheim is a Fair Weather Doctor
I've been seeing Dr. Solheim for many years, and during this time I've noticed that when I was well, she was always happy to see me, but when I was sick, she was noticeably unhappy to see me. There was a clear, direct relationship between how sick I was, and how glad she was to see me. Having watcher her behavior for many years, what I suspect, is that she's having to spend more time on sick people, so she doesn't want sick people. She makes more money on well people. This same exact pattern occurred with my wife, years before, and although my wife tried to warn me, I refused to listen. Then I got really sick, and Dr. Solheim and her staff got even more angry and even indifferent to my illnesses. It was to the point of being reckless with my care. I highly recommend that you look elsewhere for your general practice professional. There are better people to do business with, by far.

Dr. Solheim is a very thorough and good doctor but her office staff is curt, insolent, unhelpful, and rushes you out the door. To them it seems as though it's all about money. When they had made an error in billing me, I questioned them and then the doctor dropped me! The wait is usually one to up to two and a half hours, totally unacceptable. I had to find another doctor, which was good because I was fed up with their entire office staff, including the billing department.

I have been going to Solheim Family Medicine for a little over 2 years. My original problem was high calcium and extreme pains in my lower extremities. Guess what - went today on February 25th and my calcium is better but still not good. Vitamin B12 and D are all screwed up and now my RBC are low. They have done nothing to fix the issue. I have not been referred to one specialist; however, I did take it on my own to go see at least an Endocrinologist, as I have had Thyroid Cancer. They have "called" in prescriptions and orders that were never received. They quite frankly suck and should have their practice closed down. I have never seen the Doctor and the PA has a lot to be desired. The MOST unprofessional group of misfits I have ever known. I AM DONE!!! Walked out in the middle of my appointment today an have absolutely no regrets. Maybe you don't care about my Health but I do and I will find someone that cares just as much. I will report them if I find out I have an issue

I hate leaving a bad review but I feel vindicated in doing so. Dr. Solheim is good doctor, however her staff leaves a lot to be desired. In my short time at this practice I almost always had messages to the doctor completely misconstrued! It became so bad I decided to leave. When I go for bloodwork I as others do need a thinner gauge needle. The gal who draws the blood said..."we don't use them", so I had to go to another lab. Follow ups were not done after test results. I just didn't feel like my care was in my best interest.
