I had to wait in the room for more than an hour before the doctor came in. Then when he did he offered no apologies that I had to wait so long.

I am almost three weeks out from my hip replacement performed by Dr. Antonacci. I feel at this point that he did a great job with the surgery! I am now going to physical therapy. The only complaint I have is that his office could have been more compassionate with the pain meds since I have a lower pain threshold than most people. I called them after one week because I could not sleep and had exhausted the original ten pills and they would not prescribe any more pain medication. I realize there is a lot of "press" about pain meds but in this case, after a major surgery, I would expect more leniency.

There is always peace of mind after seeing Dr. Antonacci as he is very thorough and explains the problem and the alternatives for treatment that a lay person can understand. He is empathetic but also makes sure that the patient understands the problem and what should be done.

Each visit w/ Dr Antonacci was great. He listened; he answered questions to my satisfaction. He was great in the operating room before the surgery; and equally good on each of his follow-up visits. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED. !!!

I would recommend Dr Antonacci as an orthopedic specialist. I had my hip done 6 years ago and now have to have a new hip on the other leg. I am very confident in him.

I needed a total knee and the doctor and staff were amazing dr antonacci and Courtney and all the staff are incredibly kind and patient. I will not go any place else except ortho Illinois Thanks for giving me my movement back! You are all amazing!!

Never saw the surgeon until surgery day. "This is how it is done". No family allowed in the building April 2021. Covid numbers are down, all other near-by hospitals have allowed 1 support person in with them. Don't want the extra questions. Family has to wait in their car. No exceptions even if you have anxiety or work there!

I went in for a partial knee replacement but the damage was worse than the x-rays/ MRI showed so I would up with a complete kneed replacement.

I went to Dr. Antonacci using a walker in intense pain and relying on others to get me around, After a total hip replacement, I'm walking and able to travel around on my own and am completely pain free. I have my life back!
