Dr. Victor Nieto, MD

First, I would like to say that the staff who assisted me were amazing! They were very caring and even helped me take off my shoes and put them back on because my swelling and discomfort was so bad. Dr. Nieto walked in the room, took a 5 second look at me, saw I am overweight and literally said “you need weight loss surgery”. He said this would “fix all of my problems. Especially my heart disease and diabetes”. If he would have opened his little laptop on the counter and actually looked at my chart, he would see that I have just been tested for all of the above and the results were perfectly centered within the “normal” range. Specialists, in multiple practices, cannot find any medical explanation for my entire body filling with fluid; and this is what brought me to his lymphedema clinic as a last resort. He wouldn’t do an exam, listen to or even look at me! He looked at the wall behind me like I wasn’t even there. I was so embarrassed
