Postop nurses calls are so horrible
I was in so much pain and never got a callback from anyone for weeks. I had to ask for a manager in order to get help.

Dr. Ortiz performed an appendectomy on me when I was 11 weeks pregnant. His kindness and compassion will forever be ingrained in my mind. In my opinion, he made every right decision to insure the survival of my daughter. She is now 15. I will forever be grateful for his care. He could have treated me poorly, and looked at me with criticism. Instead, I could see that he cared, and that he wanted to help us. My goal is to treat patients the way he treated me. I hope to thank him in person someday.

He performed an inguinal hernia repair requiring a 2 inch incision and insertion of a mesh material. The results were excellent. He closed the wound with sutures and a special glue which takes the place of a natural scab. No staples! I have great confidence in Dr. Ortiz' work. His staff is competent and professional in every respect.

Excellent Doctor ! I recently had a surgery with Dr .Ortiz and got fantastic results ! He has very good support staff as well. I am a dental surgeon for many years and strive to provide this same level of care for my patients, so I really see what was provided for me. I would recommend him unconditionally !

DR. ORTIZ IS WONDERFUL, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM. HOWEVER, HIS STAFF IS ANOTHER MATTER, I'VE CALLED AND LEFT SEVERAL MESSAGES AND NO ONE HAS CALLED ME BACK. ONE TIME WHEN I WAS SCHEDULED FOR A SURGERY HIS OFFICE WAS SUPPOSED TO CALL AND LET ME KNOW THE TIME, WELL THEY DIDN'T. THE HOSPITAL CALLED ME AND ASKED WHY I HAD NOT CHECKED IN AS THEY HAD ME SCHEDULED.
