Absentee Physician
My mother was forced to switch to Dr. Kini when the other physician in the same office relocated. On the first scheduled visit with Dr. Kini, my mother was required to repeat the same tests that had just been performed the previous month. My mother was reluctant because it required her to transfer from her wheelchair, which is physically difficult and painful. I objected to the test and requested Dr. Kini just review the results from last month. I was informed that Dr. Kini will not use the results from the previous month because my mother is technically a new patient for Dr. Kini and so new test results are required. Reluctantly, my mother cooperated. Afterwards, Dr Kini never did visit with my mother. Instead, Dr. Kini had a PA perform an exam and make a recommendation, which Dr. Kini then approved. We will not be returning and have received a referral from my mother’s primary care physician for another specialist in pain management.

I love Dr. Kini and her staff
I saw Dr. Vidya Kini for another opinion on my pain, and what to do for it, and not sure if you need someone, but SHE IS THE BEST. MOST THOROUGH, hands-on exam I have ever had by a doctor, even a PCP. I suffer from extreme lordosis ("sway back") and DDD, as well as a narrowing of structures in my spinal cord, still, following a spinal fusion 3 years ago. This is the first place that I felt like I hadn’t taken the time to fill out needless paperwork, just for someone to come in and have no clue what I was there for. Her hands on exam reminded me about the way medicine used to be, before computers, and imaging, and the doctor actually had to touch you to diagnose, not just be buried in a laptop screen the entire appointment. Dr. Kini does not bring in a laptop, only paper, and she has someone dictate her notes, which gave her time with me. She is legit to the max, and her whole practice is professional and I love them. Thank you Dr. Kini and Staff

I had a appointment on Jan 29th I sat in her office for an hour and half,Before she came in. She evaluated me for a wheelchair. It is now a March 22. I still don’t have the evaluation so I can get a wheelchair. I’ve called five or more times . I’ve had the wheelchair company call and still no response.

Dr. Kini was warm, professional and very thorough during my initial consultation/evaluation. She was mindful that daily pain, losing sleep and worry have complicated the challenges for me. Her explanations put me at ease and I understand my carpal tunnel problems much better now. We have scheduled an EMG for further diagnosis. I feel prepared with valuable information and confident she will carefully determine the best course of action for me. Simply a lovely woman to have as a physician.

My father will be 101 in April and need a test to see if he had carpal tunnel. The pain in his left hand is so severe. I called Dr. Vidya Kini to set up an appointment. I was so impressed by the friendliness and the cooperation of the staff in setting up the appointment and answering our questions. On the test day the staff was friendly and professional and Dr Vidya was so good with my father. She listened ,she cared, she was professional, and she was very pleasant and that helped my father.

I don't have a reliable transportation and I told the office I am not going to be able to come to her office. Hours later they called me saying I was not allowed to come back for her services.
