Cold, uncaring personality. Doesn’t listen when I know my body more than she does. I understand doctors are the professional but if I say I need X amount of insulin to get me through she doesn’t listen and says no this will be fine… ok, no. Are you me? Are you my insurance? Are you my paycheck? No, she isn’t. Numerous times I have to pay full price, out of pocket for insulin because she never sends enough to my pharmacy which means my insurance doesn’t want to cover what is provided within the covered time frame.

Love her
She is so kind and professional. She patiently listened to my health history and symptoms. She gave great feedback, and even sent me to have lab work done right after. I really enjoyed this appointment. I am confident she is going to take care of me.

Work on patient interaction
Not good. Visited her many years ago and she has zero personality. She was talking to me about what to eat to lose weight and it came off that she was disgusted with the fact I was overweight. And annoyed to have the conversation.

Dr Sundaram provides kind and compassionate care. She is knowledgeable and takes time to answer questions and makes sure all information is understood. She was very attentive when a hospital was required and did rounds daily. We have been very impressed!

Very hard to work with. Not personable. Treats just the known symptom and won’t look into things further if you have other issues, which may be seemingly related.

I was a patient for many years. After cancer treatment I felt amazing and all was well. She started to lower my thyroid meds, and continued until I was on a dose that was half of what I started on. I began to eat poorly, not sleep, lose hair and feel horrible and she wanted it reduced even further. I had enough and left. She is all about numbers and does not care how you feel. Would recommend you find someone who combines medicine with a good bedside manner.

Dr. Sundaram refused to treat my low testosterone levels, after the removal of a benign pituitary tumor, telling me that low normal was perfectly acceptable for a man in his early 30's despite ongoing symptoms. I found another doctor within the same network. While the office was clean, staff courteous and Dr. Sundaram herself knowledgeable, her bed side manner is poor and I would not recommend her conservative treatments.

I was very upset that she directed her words at my wife instead of me. I was the patient! And on the second visit, since my wife couldn't be there I wanted to record the visit so my wife would know exactly what was said. Dr. Sundaram objected. And when my wife asked if there wouldn't be some kind of test performed if a tumor of the hyperthyroid gland was suspected, Dr. Sundaram said no, if the blood test suggested it, it was assumed a tumor was involved, and surgery is performed.
