Life saver
Dr Sacher is responsible for bringing my healthy baby into the world. I had a high risk pregnancy before resulting in still birth due to medical neglect. Dr Sacher was an answered prayer to my pregnancy this time. The upmost care, precautions and protocols were taken throughout my pregnancy. I cannot thank Dr. Sacher enough. His staff is wonderful as well, professional and great office management unlike many other dr offices. A plus

Incredible Doctor
I credit Dr. Sachar with saving my life and the life of my son. I ended up with pre-eclampsia and a call needed to be made about when to deliver my son. Dr. Sachar made the right call and saved us just before anything could go wrong. It turned out my placenta had just begun to see damage, so he prevented a rupture. Dr. Sachar was able to make this call because he was so involved and invested throughout my entire pregnancy. I am so grateful for him and I wish more doctors were like him.

Terrible Billing Department – Beware!
Dr. Sachar was great—knowledgeable and kind. The ultrasound technicians were mostly nice, and the front office staff was polite. However, the billing department is an absolute nightmare! When I arrived, I was asked to pay a copay. I specifically asked if they had verified this with both my primary and secondary insurances, and they assured me they had. After my visit, I called my insurance, only to find out I should not have been charged a copay at all. When I contacted the billing department, they admitted they had NOT actually reached out to my insurance. Even though they acknowledged their mistake, they refused to refund my money right away. Instead, they decided to hold onto it until previous visit claims were processed, which could take who knows how long! How does that make any sense? They made the mistake, yet I’m the one who has to wait indefinitely to get MY money back? It’s completely unacceptable. If you’re considering this office, be

Very overbooked with 1-2 hour wait times from check in/appointment time. They quadruple book patients (4 people had the same time slot as me) and most days doctor is not in the office (it's only technicians). The images/report are not available to the patient and when I asked for an ultrasound printout, the tech said doctor only allows 2 images maximum to be printed (even though he charges $250 for the scan). The front office people call you back with results, but be careful- if you have further questions for the doctor, he will bill you for a $216 "office visit" for a 5 minute phone call. I wish he was more transparent and prioritized patient care over money. I am so disappointed and will definitely see someone else during my next pregnancy.

Extremely overbooked with 1-2 hour wait times from the time you check in. They quadruple book patients (4 people had the same time slot as me). I had 2 ultrasound visits and didn't even see the doctor- the technician did the scan and she said 'doctor is not in the office today'. The images are not available online and when I asked for an ultrasound printout for keepsake, they said the doctor is strict and only allows 2 images maximum to be printed. When they call you with results, it's the front office people who relay the message and they are unable to answer further questions. When you ask to speak to the doctor directly, he takes over 1 week to call back. I am so disappointed in Dr. Sachar's office and will definitely see someone else during my next pregnancy.

My experience with Dr. Sachar's office has been terrible. Dr. Sachar's offices are poorly run, so do not expect good service or respect for your time. Expect all of your appointments to take between 2-3 hours with 80% of that time spent waiting to be seen. The Long Beach location has a homeless encampment next door over with no parking spaces and limited street parking if you're feeling unsafe. The parking lot in the adjacent medical building although it appears is part of the building, is not and where my car was towed. Although the office receptionists told me it was completely fine to park in the lot when I inquired (going so far as to joke they would stand up for me if asked), Dr. Sachar has not taken ownership over his employee's statements nor responded to multiple emails and calls to resolve the matter. At the Torrance location it was so overbooked, women and partners were lined up sitting on the hallway floor. Do yourself a favor and find another doctor. Save the stress, time and expectation to be treated decently.

Find another doctor
I would highly recommend you finding another doctor. He is over scheduled with each appt taking 2 plus hours to even be seen. He and his nurses are fine but his office staff is scary. The lack of care and consideration for high risk pregnant women is alarming. Take your business elsewhere.

EXCELLENT PHYSICIAN!!! He is very straightforward and honest. I had an extremely high risk pregnancy with a prior miscarriage. Due to my previous experience I was very paranoid. He would give me straight facts and listened to my concerns when my OB didn’t . There is no question that I wouldn’t had a successful pregnancy without Dr. Sachar!

Dr Sachar is an amazing doctor with great bedside manner..I’m so thankful to be under his care and trust his judgement fully. However; you never get seen at the appt time assigned. That area needs alot of work from the entire staff. Wait is always 45 min or more. They need to be considerate of others time.

I visit his long beach office. He's a good thorough doctor. Visits are bout five minutes long but he is very good at what he does, get straight to work. His staff is also very nice, they refer to patients as "Miss *****". They do take longer during peak times but it's okay. He's the only doctor there so understandable. Yes I'd recommend.

Although the care I received from Dr Sachar was fine, the service of the office was terrible. I had long waits every visit. On one occasion, after waiting 45 minutes, I was told the remaining wait time was 2 hours (with an appt). They also charged me a copay for a visit where the ultrasound did not show what they liked and charged me again when I came back for a second try. They also charged me a copay for a visit where all they did was check my blood pressure. After all of this, I received a bill for a balance because they did not record my copays properly. I would never recommend this office. I'm sure there are other competent doctors who will not cause so many headaches and cost so much.

I was referred to him because of some medication I was on and a live vaccine received prior to know I was pregnant. On first visit I was thrown off by his bluntness, but after that visit he was amazing. I didnt like my OB, they felt very impersonal. With Sachar that could have been farther from the truth. He was amazing, his staff was friendly. I went to the long beach location. On my first visit at 14 weeks he told me he was 95% sure I was having a girl and he was right. He also discovered I had an incompetent cervix and fought my insurance t make sure I have the procedure I needed done to ensure I didnt have a stillborn. I will forever be grateful to him. I recommend him to EVERYONE.

One of the best doctors i have seen during my pregnancy. Very nice staff from the moment you get there. Wait time was extremely fast and Dr.Sachar is great at what he does. Took care of me during my whole pregnancy and was on top of all my medications. Will definetly go back to him in my future pregnancies.

Dr. Sachar is THE most intelligent doctor i have ever met! He genuinely wholeheartedly cares about the well being of his patients. He will do everything in his power to created an environment where the patients feel like they are actually being cared for. Seeing as though all his patients are high risk his job is very important and he know and shows that he knows the importance of his line of work. He is an amazing doctor and i will recommend him to anyone that needs care!
