I love Dr. M, he's by far my favorite psychiatrist I've seen and we always have really good talks. Hes super supportive. He gets really busy but with covid I don't care bc I can do the video conferencing. I've never had issues with him or advanced behavioral workers in general. I've always had good experiences there.

Dr. Matossian is very professional, kind, and down to earth. I would highly recommend him and his practice to anyone! I've gone to see him for two years now and he is the best Psychiatrist I've ever seen, hands down! It's really easy to talk with him and you can tell that he legitimately cares and is passionate about what he does. I feel really supported and validated for the first time in my life. He is patient and really listens to you and he seriously helped save my life. When you need extra time to discuss concerns he doesn't rush you which I greatly appreciate. I've had a crisis a few times and the office fit me into his schedule for an appointment as soon as possible and/or gave me a call. I know it can be a wait sometimes to see him but I believe that it is because he spends extra time with people when they need it. The office staff are nice and professional as well and my therapist has been really helpful too.

I brought my disabled son to Dr. Matossian a year ago. He was having a problem with his gait and the neurologist thought it might be a side effect of his medication. The doctor tried switching his medicine a couple of times. Every time we showed up for an appointment we waited at least 45 minutes. At one point my sweet non violent son became a violent monster. I called the office every day straight for a week and a half begging to speak to the doctor. His staff was completely indifferent to my situation. He NEVER called me back. I'm writing this now because after taking my son to a wonderful psychiatrist in Troy he is just now becoming the person he used to be. I have never in my life met such an unprofessional ,arrogant doctor. I would highly recommend never going to him.

Rude, arrogant, lacking in therapeutic empathy. Concern extends to entire staff. Kept waiting > 1 hr in extreme physical pain; told he was"reviewing my paperwork" (despite having already seen "therapist" x2) and "this is how he always does things". Get a clue! People don't come to psychiatrists to be further abused

Dr matossian refused to even begin seeing me because my husband owed the place he works as a bill. My husband didn't even have him as a doctor. And my husband saw him before we were even married. How can he refuse me treatment because my husband who saw someone entirely different before we were married. It's disgusting

Bad experience. This guy seemed very opinionated and didn't help me at all. Seems he doesn't like the medications that I have been perscribed and said he couldn't help me unless I stopped my prescribed medications in favor of something he wanted me to take! I wasn't there to get any medications. I just wanted to talk to a professional who would be able to help me deal with some difficult circumstances in life. Instead I left more depressed than when I walked in.

To whom it may concern, I have been a patient of Dr Matossian for over 25 years on and off, mostly on. At first I was not happy with the wait time it took to see him, like most people are. However it taught me patience. And as I learned he would take as much time as it took to get to the issue of the visit with everybody. I told him that my time was just as important as his. Lol. The Dr is very giving of his time, Be honest with your self and the Dr, and watch the miracals Happen. Thanks Dr & st
