Dr. Vikranth Gongidi, DO

In 2016 Dr. Gongidi litterly saved my life. I went to the walk in clinic in Sebastian with a problem of not being able to catch my breath. I didn't even know I might have a heart problem. I was diagnosed with the widow maker and had stents implanted. Dr. Gongidi was my cardiologist for three years until moved out of state. Dr. Gongidi is the best of the best. I really miss having him as my doctor.

I read a number of positive reviews and can only conclude they were friends and family. Immediately after arriving I clearly stated I could not take statins or beta blockers due to severe negative reactions. In addition he said he needed basic lab work and I told him I had it done recently and he could contact Quest or my GP for results.On my way out I was informed he prescribed both types of drugs and lab work. I was horrified that he was so rude and disrespectful as to completely ignore my statements.Caveat Emptor.

After having pacemaker put in and unable to reach my dr. I called Dr. Gongidi. After getting through to office I got an appointment immediately, he spent over an hour going over everything. Scheduled several procedures and finding root of problem. I have gained my trust /confidence again and have recommended him to friends. Only reason not 5 stars is getting through to staff to get appointment, but keep trying. Once you get through it’s well worth it to have such a great doctor.

If you want to be warehoused until you die see this doctor. If you want to be fixed find someone else!

Professional; clear, concise explanations of issues; easy to talk to; patient

I’ve seen a lot of cardiologists in my 80 years, including big names from Philadelphia (which has 5 Teaching hospitals) and Dr. Congidi tops them all. Why? He spent almost an hour listening carefully about a scary fall I had here in Vero and then reviewed my extensive medical history in detail , asking questions along the way. He made copious notes. We now have a reasonable test and treatment plan. That’s it: a bright, friendly and experienced physician with whom you can talk face to face as long as needed for him to understand your medical needs. And enabled me to understand what may have happened. Absolutely the Best!

Dr Gangidi is a great doctor but trying to get a hold of one of his people to make an appointment or to find out about a prescription is crazy they don’t return your phone calls so on that aspect he does not have a good staff they are lazy and do not answer phone calls or make more appointment

I have been to see Dr. Gongidi 3 times. I can always get in very quickly and since I am a heart patient I am very thankful for that. We are trying to get my meds adjusted property and a couple of visit I needed an EKG for chest pains. Very nice doctor and concerned about getting me back to feeling good again.
