Finally found a doctor who listens and helps
When I first went to Accent Physicians Specialists they assigned me to a physician that was moving out of state. What a waste of time. I then got assigned to Dr Patel and I just love Dr Patel. I just found out that he left Accent Physician Specialists. I’m so disappointed. Does anyone know what practice he moved to? The office said they didn’t know where he went.

Fantastic Endocrinologist
Dr. Patel was a very friendly and personable doctor. Listened to me first, rather than acting like he was God and speaking down to me. I’ve recommended him highly to several people. Unfortunately, I was just informed (7-9-24) that he is leaving the ACCENT practice. I probably will too.

While I appreciate someone who gets to the point and does not sugar coat the conversation, Dr. Patel has often been blunt to the point of rudeness and dismissive of of symptoms; suggesting that they are related to something else without recent test results to back the suggestion. He does not engender a sense of trust or even a sense of concern for his patient's well-being. Patel is overtly condescending to the point that I prefer talking to his staff.

Dr Patel never seemed to care about anything I had to say. He made excuses for my symptoms, which were typical for having thyroid cancer.
