Highly recommended Dr. Benig! He has been our family physician for 5+ years and could not have found a better care giver - he genuinely cares about his patients. The level of care and compassion we receive from him is second to none. He does everything he can to insure that all of your health needs are being met, and quite often goes above and beyond what you would expect from your doctor.

There aren’t enough words to describe how amazing Dr. Benig is. I began caring for my father after a reoccurrence of lung cancer. Dr. Benig was my primary physician and in turn became my father’s as well. He, along with a team of specialists at his referral, turned the months my father was initially given into years. During this period, he was hospitalized a half a dozen times and Dr. Benig was the only physician to show up every single day. He contacted me directly and kept me informed at every turn and was always available for all of my questions and concerns. When it was time to begin hospice, and we chose in home, Dr. Benig came to pay his last respects. When my father passed, he called me personally to give his condolences. In an age where every other medical practice uses voice prompts and answering services, Dr Benig is the exception. The quality of care, commitment, and compassion is unrivaled. I’m grateful for him and his practice and will forever be a loyal patient.

I'm 60 years old and have known doctors from back when they made house visits. Dr Benig is the only doctor I've had as an adult who understands he is treating people not patients. People who are interested in their health but don't know what to ask or are afraid or even embarrassed because most doctors talk at you instead of to you, with you. If you relate to this, got to Dr Benig just once and you will see. He has my complete trust, something few people ever earn!

Dr. Benig is very thoughtful and thorough in the care and treatment he has provided me over the last 5+ years. He answers all of my questions, and does not rush, taking his time with me. I have needed referrals to specialists and Dr. Benig knows the best ones in our area, each specialist I have seen has also been excellent, both in knowledge and delivery of care. I would, and have, recommended Dr. Benig to anyone seeking a new primary care physician, he and his office/staff, are most excellent.

A blood pressure 200/100 in a person with no prior history of hypertension should not be given Diovan 320mg, a bp med without finding the underlying cause. This is not white coat syndrome. The feet starting to swell and the doctor does not know why? Don't just send a person home. Order diagnostic testing. This mistake cost me my dad's life. I do not recommend Dr. Benig to anyone.

Dr. Benig has cared for me and my family for minor issues and some very serious issues and in every instance the level of care has been more than we could hope for. He is sincerely invested into the well-being of the person he is caring for. During a hospital admission, the nurses even commented on what a great doctor he was to work with. I often tell those who are looking for a recommendation he not only is a great doctor, he is a great person, we HIGHLY recommend him

×Post a ResponseAre you Dr. Benig?
Dr Benig did a poor job diagnosing medical condition. Despite good bedside manner, there is a major lack of assessment skills. Saw him every week for three weeks and he just gave pain medicine without ordering tests to figure out what was wrong. This led to a trip to the ER, delay in diagnosis, and delay in treatment. I would not recommend any of my family or friends to this
