Dr. Vinh Nguyen, MD

It’s been 8 years and I still have trauma from his bedside matter with my mother dying from cancer. You are just a number. He does not care if you are in pain. He doesn’t care if he is actively causing you pain. My mother’s last days on earth were horrific because of this man. I forgive him for what he did, but I will never forget. You should stay far away. My mother is in Heaven now, and I pray that God forgives you for how you treated her, although you do not deserve it.

Had an appointment with Dr. Nguyen and after waiting over an hour and half I was put in a room. Dr. Nguyen came in and I asked him if he would like to see my reports and he said ' NO, IF YOU WERE TOLD YOU HAVE GALL STONES THEN YOU NEED YOUR GALL BLADDER REMOVED AND IT'S A ONE DAY SURGERY, I DO THEM EVERY THURSDAY AT THE LOCAL HOSPITAL. HERE IS MY CARD, CALL ME WHEN YOU WANT IT DONE. I SAID IS THAT IT AND HE SAID THAT'S IT AND LEFT. I saw him may be for 5 minutes and there was no way I was going to have him do my surgery. I made another appointment with a doctor at Grandview Med. and after being checked out was told I did not need any surgery.

I arrived a half hour early for a 1/27/2023 3:30 appointment with the surgeon, Dr. Vinh Nguyen. This was a referral from the previous day from Dr. Jason Thompson in the same building. I was appalled to find Dr. Nguyen had scheduled 5 patients within a 40 minute window, some for the exact time and that Dr Nguyen had not arrived. When I cancelled my appointment my request for a refund was met with disdain and resistance. I insisted the office manager be contacted and the refund issued. It was finally issued with obvious reluctance although no credit memo was offered only a verbal statement. When I left (after 3;4) Doctor Nguyen had still not arrived . >

He was clearly preoccupied and barely consulted with me. I was there for an in office procedure and after less than 5 minutes left the exam room sending a nurse back to reschedule for 3 weeks. I had already been there for a consultation and had taken time off work and had child care and a driver. Most in professional experience ever.
