Google your health or even have your kindergarten child give you a diagnosis before scheduling an appointment with her! Absolutely horrible! Completely dismisses you in general! Doesn’t answer messages about testing or anything. Then doesn’t even know if it was her that ordered you a lifelong medication or if someone else did or if you’re even on it. Also pathetic that you have to ask HER to order a test for her to have results before the appointment so it isn’t pointless which was anyways because she completely dismissed the fact that ONE of many test were completely off the chart but I guess that test results was all in my head. A growth they “accidentally found” in one of those tests she also completely dismissed it and never followed up like it stated. Also states on chart that she goes over things that she doesn’t even mention at all!

She gave me a prescription medication without making me aware of any of the serious side effects! Ended up in the ER and am now dealing with additional heart complications because of the lack of guidance. I feel that Complications could’ve been avoided with proper supplementation and care!!!! Will never return

Wonderful, sweet, compassionate physician who thinks outside of the box! I think this doctor is supportive and very intelligent! She listened extremely well and cared about what I had to say. I would recommend her to those who have diabetes and any other endocrine issues!

Dr Makin treated me for a pituitary brain tumor and was exceptional in my care. She is patient and kind and listened to all my questions nd concerns, together we laid out the perfect treatment plan for me. I would highly recommend her.

She doesn't listen, I had asked questions and she told me the symptoms I had were not cause by my diagnosis. I researched in medical journals and found she was wrong. Never went back. My advice to anyone reading this, is find someone else. Not friendly, knowledgeable or compassionate.

She was very dismissive of my complaints. She doesn't know anything at all about Graves disease or thyroid function. She treated me like my problems were in my head, when in fact I have both Graves disease, and TED. Never went back to her and never will.

Outside of diabetes. This doctor is poor dealing with other endocrine issues. Please don’t waste you time seeing her.

Very dismissive and did not appear interested in helping. Did not listen to the details I provided and suggested my problems were in my head. I followed up a week later with a different doctor and got a firm diagnosis within a month. There are better doctors available
