Dr. Mangal changed my life, I never felt like a number as he believed in me and wanted the best for me. His understanding of his field is second to none. Through challenges he continued to push me and made me believe something can and will be done. Half the battle is having someone there to believe in you and Dr. Mangal made sure of it. Because of him I'm taking 1/3 of what I was on and I refuse to fail because of him! Please come back to VA.

Dr. Mangal Accepted Me As A Patient After I Had A Terrible Experience With A Pain Specialists. His Open Mindness And Compassion Took Me From One Who Was Battling With Ever Increasing Pain Medicine Prescriptions And Dismissal Of My Worries Of Being Controlled By Pain Meds To One Who Controls Them And Their Side Effects. Comprehensive Care And A Great Patient / Doctor Relationship Ensued. I Have Seen Dr. Mangal For More Than Three Years And After Decreasing My Meds By More Than Half I Am Still Taking The Same Amount With No Desire Or Need To Increase Dosage. Thank You Dr. Mangal. I Consider You A Friend And Wish You Well In Your Career.

Dr. Mangal is the best Dr I've ever had for pain management very understanding and easy to talk too. I would drive to the end of the earth to see him again! You cannot go wrong with any problem you have if you need a Dr. Miss you very much. Vickie Johnson (looking for new Dr to help with my pain) Do not appreciate the way I was treated with physcian assistant, who took Dr Mangals place, very cold person who didn't care about helping with my pain or finding my history with pain.

Dr.Mangal was extremely kind and a true professional at what he does. The physician understood titration and understood I had been on opana for years and the need for higher doses of er and ir medications were what I was originally worked up to by another physician so he had no problem helping me achieve relief by properly treating me with the correct dosage. I actually qualified as a pain pump patient and I'm in my 30s l so I stayed away from this form of treatment but looking back I should hav

If you truly suffer this is the best Dr on the east coast. Multiple Specialists told me from age 15-40 there was no hope -w/bone to bone rubbing in my back fixing could paralyze me - my life would be with a walker or cane until I was wheelchair-bound & constant pain & tons of side effects from medications. After 1 visit & review exams/images... Dr Mangal set me up to get a pain pump implanted & my life dramatically changed for the better. Walking w/out assistance & no pain & micrograms of meds

I couldn't have asked for a better doctor to understand my issues I was going through back in 2015/2016. With that said, it was my own fault that I lost one of the best providers I've ever had in my life. After being on pain management for 8+ years I was quite aware of the rules I was expected to follow. It was with great disappointment that I misunderstood one of his explanations during my orthopedic doctor consult. I lost one of he BEST doctors ever. I hope he understands I hold no grudge!

Dr. Mangal is a fantastic provider. He gave me excellent medical care, and is kind, compassionate and really listened to me as a patient. This was my second pain mgmt practice. It was refreshing to have a doc that was really interested in lessening my pain without insisting on going through more procedures that had already failed. He performed a surgery that did the trick, for the most part. The caveat is that you'll have to deal with the incompetent and rude office staff. They get 1 star.

I just experienced a nightmare at Advanced Spine and Pain. Dr. Mangal was my doctor for years and I absolutely loved him. Because of a scheduling issue I was sent to his nurse practitioner, Rebecca. I thought this was temporary but after two visits I was told I was discharged because I took too many of my meds. I have never been so humiliated in my life. I asked to speak to Dr. Mangal and was told no. I have never been so embarrassed. I am a 62 year old grandmother who just wants no pain J Flynn

After several years with a pain management doc, I switched to Dr. Mangal. In the 10 months I've been his patient, I've had two surgeries, am on medication that actually works, and am slowly but surely getting my life back. I have a complicated illness and he has been instrumental in figuring out the hard answers. He is young but extremely knowledgeable, conscientious, thorough and kind. He's confident without having a God complex. I'm in my 30s, have seen dozens of docs, & he is one of the best.
