Long-time fan
I love Dr Joshi. He's incredibly knowledgeable but still takes time to listen to his patients and consider their experiences. I always feel like we're a team. His office staff are wonderful as well.

Day Before First Visit
I waited two months for this visit and cleared my schedule for the appointment. I got a phone call the day before the appointment telling me that they wanted to change my in-person appointment to a phone call. The two reasons given were there was no space for all the patients, and they didn't want to take up too much of my time for the day. I asked his assistant what the procedure of the phone call would be. She gave me a hypothetical answer that did not make me feel cared for as a new patient who is suffering. So I canceled the appointment because I knew that I was not going to be handled with care.

Don't recommend. I am new, post-COVID patient, so possible that office is not adapting well to virtual environment. Main Issues: (1) My two virtual visits have been conducted over phone call, rather than a secure patient portal or Zoom. (2a) They do not seem to have any record of these visits occurring. After m first visit, I was asked on two separate occasions if I ever met with Dr. Joshi. I received no after-summary notes via the portal. (2b) As a result of the above point, lab work is not requested as it should be. I had to follow up and ask multiple times for my lab work to be requested. They did not send me any details on where the lab work was sent or how to complete. This was for a stool sample, so an all around sh*tty experience! (3) Dr. Joshi is unprofessional. He did not listen to my symptoms (said "I don't know your symptoms" after me repeatedly telling him), and didn't identify himself when calling me. He does not take notes and spends <5 min on every visit.

after having virtual visit, the nurse called me to schedule colonoscopy and they were supposed to call in prep to pharmacy. I called the office 4 times over a 3 week period to ask them to send to pharmacy and everytime I was assured someone would call me back. I never received a call back. I found another dr that I scheduled procedure and sent prep to pharmacy the same day. I heard from the hospital a week before procedure to remind me of procedure still have not heard from anyone at Dr Joshi office
