Dr. Virginia Agnelli, MD

I went to Dr. Agnelli after my doctor retired for placement of a hormonal IUD to treat a uterine fibroid. When my condition worsened a couple of months later I called to see her right away but she was out of country. I was told by her staff that she left them instructions to send all patients with urgent matters to urgent care and the ER and that she does not have a back-up gynecologist as there are none she feels comfortable with. I went to both urgent care and the ER as my health worsened and both told me to see my gynecologist within days, which was not possible. So I found another provider who got me in for a surgery consult. As I was waiting, Dr. Agnelli returned to the country and I called for recommendations to treat my condition in the interim—I was bleeding through 50 tampons daily at that point. She said she couldn’t help as I’d transferred care. She offered no compassion or solutions. It was the worst conversation I’ve ever had with a doctor.

She made my pregnancy checks a nightmare. Constantly gaslighting me and attributing my questions to anxiety when I just wanted information. I started presenting all the symptoms of , I called for help and again she said that it was anxiety, a week later she realized it was true, so my baby stayed getting intoxicated for an additional week because of her lack of professionalism. When being induced she broke my water without informing me, and then joked about how many wholes she put in there. When we decided to do C-section she screamed at us and show herself very angry (at that point I was being induced for 30 hours with my water broke and reaching only 3cm of dilation). It was clear that the staff at the hospital were embarrassed by her behavior and they apologized.

I went to see Dr Virginia agonelli a year ago and she was the worst mistake ever I would never ever go and see her ever again she was disrespectful she was rude she made fun of my illness I had went in for a uterine fibroid and I was bleeding she made fun of that I have a prolapsed uterus she made fun of she made me cry she disrespected me due to my weight because when you have a uterine fibroid you gain weight and she made fun of me she was cracking disrespectful jokes she had me in tears and not for a good reason she told me I might as well forget having children and she didn't even take the time to talk to me to find out what was wrong she didn't perform no exam on me and she's supposed to be a gynecologist and she's rude even her receptionist her nurse staff is rude the whole office is rude they were unprofessional when I went there and to tell you truth I'm never going there ever ever again that was just a waste of time! If anyone's ever considering going to her please Don't !

She's a little rude and not thorough in her assessment.

Dr Agnelli is thoughtful and truly cares about your wellbeing and your journey as a woman. I trust her and her medical advise. Her staff is great and helpful, her office is warm and welcoming.

Dr. Agnelli has been my OB for almost 15 years now. THere are a couple of reviews saying she is rude or has bad bedside manner. I think I understand why somebody might think that, but I wanted to say that she is NOT rude at all. Her personality is funny, and straight-forward. If I come in telling her what I think I'm suffering from, she'll give me a mock-stern look and ask me why I've been on Google. She's like the caring friend who will tell it like it is. She may not be everyone's cup of tea, but I personally find it refreshing that she's a REAL person, who gives me honest information about what's going on with my health. And she is a GREAT doctor, which is the most important part to me.

I love Dr. Agnelli. She gets straight to the point, gives you all the information you may need and the time to make any decisions that may arise. She has always given me her full, undivided attention when she's with me and never has made me feel rushed or unheard. I love that she's not full of fake fluff or fake kindness but a realness that is comforting in times of stress.

I am a fan of Dr. Agnelli! She is always friendly, easy going and gentle. She instantly puts you at ease. She takes time to talk with you and answer your questions. I am always glad to see her. And not only her; her staff is as friendly and easy going too! The only thing I'm not crazy about is the parking situation on Cherry. Everything else is great though!

Dr. Agnelli is rude and lacks basic interpersonal skills that are the foundation of any profession dealing with people, much less people who you are entrusting with life and death decisions. Her bedside manner is atrocious. She talks down to patients, makes inappropriate comments, and overall lacks empathy. There are countless other excellent Drs nearby so please do your research before going with Dr Agnelli. Additionally, her front office staff mirrors The Dr’s poor interpersonal communication.

I agree with you, she is rude.

She is amazing. She makes you comfortable, she spends a lot of time with you and really listens. She has a way of making a difficult situation feel better. Highly recommend. Her nurse and staff are also very easy to work with and very approachable.

She provides great knowledge and understanding at each step of the way of your pregancy. She also provides insight on the benefits and disadvantages when having to make certain decisions you may be faced with while your under her treatment. During the birth of my three children she has made my experience great!! One thing I've learned by having her as my OB is she truly does care for you as a patient and has lots of passion for what she does for a living... you're not just another Jane Do.

Dr. Agnelli has no bedside manner, does not like to share information and is extremely condescending. She would not listen to me or answer any questions about my pregnancy and instead would say, are you reading your book? I felt that since she is the expert, she should not be referring me to a book. She also made inappropriate comments that she thought were funny. I would not recommend her to anyone and in my opinion she should not even be working with people because she lacks empathy.
