I don't like leaving bad reviews on individuals, but I feel this is necessary to help other women. I have to say that I experienced the absolutely most uncomfortable, painful pap smear I've ever received from Dr. Chan. She couldn't scrap everything quickly and efficiently and had to go in with the swap another round in the same appointment. It caused a lot of bleeding, and when I asked, she said it must be my "timing" or just me. At my age, I've had pIenty of Pap smears from different doctors, and this was definitely not how it was supposed to be.

I have been seeing Dr. Chan for the past few months for my first pregnancy. She is very caring, takes time to explain everything and is very good at laying out options without pushing towards a particular path.

Dr. Chan is very pushy to make more money from patients. She suggested me to do tests which I really didn't need to. I don't feel she really cares about patients, and will definitely not want to use her.

She is a very warm and kind doctor. She takes her time during appointments and you can tell she genuinely cares about your well-being. She was assigned to me about 3 weeks before my second child was born. I had so much anxiety about switching doctors (this would be another c-section and my previous doctor had a family emergency and would be unavailable). It was such short notice. When I met her I absolutely loved her. She completely put me at ease for delivery.
