Dr. Virginia Smith, MD

Dr. Smith delivered my first baby . she is very knowledgeable and polite. However, I want to share my story after so many years. My first baby was induced on the first day of 39 weeks. But the baby was induced not because I had any complexity or the baby had any health concerns. Both baby and I are super healthy. My baby was induced only because Dr.Smith is off on weekends on that week and my due date is close to the weekends. She said my baby was very low and if she were not here, only the unknown male doctor would deliver me. Also, she said the hospital is very busy in the summer time and if I won't schedule the delivery room earlier, it would be hard to get one. So I have to make my decision quickly. I was intimidated at that time and it was the first time I had a baby, so I made a decision that I had been regret for many years later. To be fair, Dr. Smith did ask my permission to induce my baby. Always personable. Always listens to all my questions and concerns. Calls personally instead of having a nurse call. Reliable, trustworthy, wonderful doctor!

Dr Smith goes way above and beyond!!! I was so impressed by her. I never felt like she was just doing her job. I could tell she truly cared about my well being.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr.smith she delivered my son at the MED in August 2017 and i am only 17 i was 15 at the time an she walked me there the whole time. And she was wonderful and when i called to call to set up an appointment her staff was awesome they where always understanding. I will be using her again on my next pregnancy.

Dr. Viriginia Smith was one of the best doctors I have ever been to. She took time to understand my concerns, address them and made me feel comfortable all the while! She has amazing bedside manners and explained to me in detail the cause and treatment for my issues.

Dr. Smith delivered my baby girl Jan 2018 and during the process everything was great. I called to schedule appt with her to do a routine check up and spoke to a young girl at the front desk who proceeded to tell me that I had cancelled appts with them 5 times and that Dr. Smith would decide if she wanted to see me again. I was in shock and very upset because I hadn't even made an appt with them at all since my postpartum visit. I never make reviews, but I have never heard of a doctor doing this

Amazing . Simply put. She is a great listener. She clearly loves her line of work, it shows in the way she handles patience. I was recommended to Dr Gayle and he happened to be booked, it clearly was my blessing in disguise cause Dr. Smith showed me that she cared without even having to tell me. I can’t think of the last time I was so relaxed at a appointment but she made it so easy to talk to her about all of my concerns.. Now if only I could add pediatrician to her title .. hands down best DR!

I love Dr. Smith and her team! They are all so sweet. Dr. Smith is so kind and I just love how thorough she is and how she listen to you. What a sweet and pleasant doctor that really cares about her patients. I highly recommend her!

I had the worst luck with changing insurance and finding a dr that I loved as much as my previous doctor. I am currently 7.5 months pregnant, and finding Dr. Smith was a gift from God. She is such a pleasant person in general, but every bit of anxiety I had went away after my appointment with her. I have already recommended her to my family members in the area, but I thought it was important for everyone else to know how great she is as well. The front desk staff at genisis is also so helpful!!

Dr. Smith is a wonderful doctor who genuinely cares for her patients. She is sincere and thorough and so easy to relate to. Dr. Smith is one of the best doctors I have seen and will continue to use her for a long time to come. On a personal note, having her take the time to say a heartfelt prayer before my procedure is something I will never forget. Thank you, Dr. Smith!

Dr. Smith was absolutely amazing. Myself and my daughter are both patients of hers and we recommend Dr. Smith to everyone. She's caring, knowledgeable, puts you at ease and spends as much time with you as you need. More Doctors need to be like Dr. Smith!
