Dr Winburn is one of the kindest, gentlest, most understanding, knowledgeable doctors I've ever been to. She spends time to fully gather information. She makes the uncomfortable experience as comfortable as possible. I have seen her a number of times and she remains the same very knowledgeable and yet so very down to earth doctor/person. I highly recommend her as each person would have the same positive experience.

She was great. I had heard nothing but good remarks about Dr. Winburn and I agree. Had a bit of a wait but that’s to be expected. During my visit she was so personable. I was very comfortable talking with her. I never felt like she was just going down a checklist with me. Answered all my questions.

This is my story?? I’m 70 now & just scheduled my 2nd colonoscopy with Dr Winburn. My OBGYN had been after me forever to do this. I told her I would do it when I got on Medicare. I reserched Sugeons to the hilt. That’s who I am.?? And, so, 5 years ago, I found Dr Winburn. The thought of a colonoscopy was disgusting to me but the thought of colon cancer scared me with no symptoms. The day I called for an appointment, my brother called to tell me he had colon cancer! That did it. I needed a great Dr to take care of me. I’m widowed & a caregiver. I ended up having a polyp 5 years ago & so, every 5 years I need to see Dr Winburn to take care of me. And, again right before I scheduled the appointment yesterday, my brother called to tell me his cancer markers were up. I was going to put this off until next year because of the pandemic. I asked Dr Winburn if I could wait. She told me it was up to me.. smart Dr.?? Don’t wait! Just do it! It’s a piece of cake.??

I went to Dr. Winburn after a failed procedure. She greeted me with a conservative smile and a firm handshake. She then proceeded to apologize for what happened to me, although it was not her fault. I teared up and we on with the appointment. She asked serious questions and a gave firm straight to the point answers. She save me and my sanity. She is what healthcare is suppose to be like. Yes, she can be rough with her words, but she is great with her medical techniques.

The absolute worst experience with a colonoscopy EVER. She was almost 2 hrs late arriving to the hospital for my 1:30 appointment - and because she was late there was no longer an anesthesiologist available. I finally had my procedure after 4:00pm (you know how miserable you are with the prep AND I have Type II Diabetes) and hardly a word from Dr. Winburn. She left me on the table waiting for over an hour without checking to see if I was OK, nurses didn't notice my IV dried out - AWFUL!!
