Pain & Unexplained Damage
Like the other reviewer from 2024 I had significant pain during my core needle biopsy which despite voicing to the Dr she still continued. Had infection and noticeable damage post procedure, continued pain persisting still at 3 mo from biopsy. Seen twice with slow response from her, no real explanation from the Radiologist as to the cause. She told me she’d never seen damage like that before from this type of biopsy but could not say what caused it or the continued pain. When asked if it could by any vascular damaged she told me “ you read too much” yet still offered no explanation as to the cause. Though she may be ok with reading a radiological image, I would avoid this Dr for any surgical procedures.

Dr. Wing performed my breast biopsy, during which an unexpected complication caused significant pain. Although she was concerned, she continued with the procedure. The next day, she called me, which I initially found reassuring but later questioned. My recovery, initially expected to be brief, lasted over a month. At my follow-up with a different doctor, he noted the rarity and trauma of my complications and recommended a repeat biopsy. When the doctor left, the nurse quietly advised me to request a different doctor for the second biopsy, citing Dr. Wing's reputation for speed and its potential downsides. I’ve since learned that a pseudoaneurysm in my breast, likely from the initial biopsy, has formed and must be treated, further complicating this entire situation . More than anything, I'm grateful for the nurse's advice and will avoid future procedures with Dr. Wing.

I have had a biopsy before so had an idea of what to expect. Dr. Wing was very business like and very good at what she does. The procedure itself was a little more difficult than last time because the mass was hard but the recovery time was much faster. I had some tenderness the day of the procedure and very minor bruising but it was no big deal. Last time it had been painful for a couple of days afterwards and my breast looked beat up. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Wing.

Dr Wing was kind, took time to review my procedure both before and after, and seemed very competent. She is exceptional for a radiologist in my experience.
