This man has no compassion for a person's pain nor does he listen I told him all the ailments and problems I have causing me severe pain on a daily basis lowering my quality of life and he did not want to prescribe anything for pain not one thing for pain despite my prior treatment the only reason I came to this doctor is because I need a new doctor because my insurance changed I told him what a waste of time he was do not go to this man if you have severe pain you need taken care of

My experience
Been seeing the doctor for my mom for a year now. I’ve had nothing but a pleasant experience and he has helped my mothers back pain tremendously. He’s always been very patient listens and provides clear answers and a treatment plan. She’s had a few rounds of epidurals and this last one worked well for over 6 months. Her quality of life has improved since seeing this doctor. I appreciate the conservative treatment plan we followed along with a course of PT before heading into the injections.

This doctor doesn't care about his patients. Shame
This doctor's bedside manner Is one of the worst I've ever seen my mother went through 3 surgeries and chemotherapy and he was assigned to be her pain management doctor he was not only rude to my mother he was dismissive of her situation and dismissive of her concerns and continually cut her off and didn't listen to her concerns or needs. Also she is non ambulatory and he still insisted that she find a way to the office which is 45 miles away from her home and refused to do telehealrh services which he initially was willing to do because of her situation. I would not recommend ANYONE to visit him as a doctor if you want to be treated as a human being instead of a number on a chart. Very disappointed in this doctor ...I 100% do not recommend this doctor..find someone else, don't waste your time..I had to advocate for my mother and was disrespected and dismissed in the process. Find a doctor who will treat you with respect and care about your situation, because he is not the one.

My opinion
It's been a while since I've seen Dr Salomon (over a year), but I happened upon this page and felt compelled to add my opinion. I met with Dr Salomon at least three times and found him to be a good listener and a compassionate person. He really tried to help alleviate my lower back pain. I had trigger point injections as well as osteopathic adjustments. Although I ended up moving on to find another pain management doctor, I appreciated his efforts. I have a complicated medical history and I think what many patients don't understand is, not everything is fixable. Sometimes there are certain pain conditions that we as patients need to learn to live with & find alternatives to injections or meds. Yes, sometimes doctors aren't great at listening or at their craft. Dr Salomon isn't one of them. My two cents...

I stayed with this doctor way too long and had been in pain way too long. Each procedure for my back pain took well over a month and his response was that he was very busy. If you are in pain management, it is unfair keeping your patient in pain. The last straw was I saw him Jan 31.2022. He told me I needed an epidural. He gave me a trigger shot with no gloves on and no nurse in the room. I still have not heard from him and it is the end of Feb. I saw someone else (my old doctor who treated me like I never left) and got me out of pain within the week and even called to see how I was feeling! I usually do not write bad reviews but I don't want anyone else in this situation. I begged him to help me on my chart and he would write back that he would review at our next appointment. Who does that?

Didn't listen to me AT ALL. Just kept saying he wasn't giving me opioids like I asked for them. I told him I just want to be pain free, I never asked for opioids. He told me I was being unrealistic. Very dismissive.
